Personality: A kind, loving lioness who loves to hunt for family. She is a curious lioness who is a caring, wise mother to her son.

History: Her parents are unknown, but all she remembers from birth is looking into Nala's face, and purring at the touch of Simba. She grew up with three older siblings, well one was younger, so two older siblings and one younger sibling named Kopa, Fluffy and Kiara. She was blessed with the nicest family any lion could have! She loved hanging around her grandmothers; Sarabi and Sarafina. Her other favorite lion in the pride was Uncle Mheetu. He was interesting to her, because he told nice stories. Soon she fell in love with a lion called Mflame.

Mflame and Baridi were trouble as teens. They went EVERYWHERE together, they did EVERYTHING together. They were soon mates.

Soon after Mflame and Baridi became mates, they were blessed with a handsom cub named Edison. Edison grew up to be a kind, gentle cub. Loved his father more than Baridi. But soon the worst struck.

"Eddy?! Mflame?! Where are you?" Baridi shouted looking for her son and mate. She turnt to the river that flowed through their valley. "Eddy?" There, right in front of her was a lion, he was soaked. Then suddenly, a cub rose from beneath the body. "Mummy?" Baridi looked closely at the lion. It was Mflame! "Eddy, I am so, so sorry." Eddy looked at his mother. "Is he waking up? He's just sleeping, right?" Baridi hugged her son. "No. He is not coming back, Edison." Edison looked at his mother. "No! You're wrong! He, can't be dead!" Eddy pulled himself away from his mother. "Eddy, I am so, sorry." "Nooo! You're all wrong!" He ran off, leaving his mother in tears. "Eddy! Please come back!"

After her mate died and her son ran away, she was haunted in her dreams. She hated the thought that her son hated her, and would always hate her.

Soon Kiara became queen of the Pride Lands with Kovu at her side. One day whilst Queen Kiara and Baridi were watching the cubs, Zazu flew up to them. "Queen Kiara, my dearest, a rouge lion has entered the Pride Lands." Kiara rose and then followed Zazu. "May I come, Kiara?" Baridi asked. "Sure, my friend." They walked up to the teen, who looked a bit familiar to Baridi. "Young lion, what is your name and why are you here?" The teenager lion looked at Queen Kiara and sighed. "I am... Wait," He looked at Baridi, and smiled. Kiara blocked him then repeated. "Why are you here??" "Aunt Kiara, it's me!" Kiara was confused. Baridi walked over to Kiara and the rouge. "Who are YOU? How is Kiara your Aunt? Then I must be too! Cause I am Kiara's sister!" The rouge's smile grew. "Mother?" Baridi backed away. "Who ARE YOU? I don't know you, do I?" The rouge stepped forward. "Mother, it's me. Your son." Baridi looked at the rouge closely. "Are you SURE?" The rouge rolled his eyes. "Yeah, it's me. Edison, your son." Baridi grinned. "Edison!! My son you've returned!" She nuzzled her son, who had returned to her. Kiara grinned, politely. "Welcome back Edster!"

Soon, Edison grew up. But, one gloomy day at Pride Rock, Zazu came into the mouth of the cave, alert. "Hyenas!" Kiara recruited Baridi, Kovu, Edison, Samantha and three other fighting lions and lionesses to scare the hyenas off.

"Where is my mother?" Edison asked back at Pride Rock. Kiara shrugged. "I don't know. Go look for her. Edison looked until he found the dying body of his mother, who was covered in blood. "Eddy, my son, be strong. Remember me will you?" Edison had a tear drizzling down his cheek. "I won't dare to forget you, mother." Were the last words Baridi heard. Now Baridi is with Mflame again, living the after life with her mate, together forever.
