Crocodile is n important character who appears in one of Six New Adventures books called The Brightest Star.

Crocodile is a character who lived during Mohatu's reign.

The story begins when king Mohatu sets out in searchfor water source during a drought in the Pridelands. He finds a jungle osasis where lives "he largest, most frightening crocodile he'd ever seen". Mohatus notices that the crocodile is crying, and the reptile explains that he is lonely, for he has no friends because he bit Hippo's tail once and everyone is afraid of him since then.

Mohatu comes back to Pridelands and tells his subjects about the Great River. Zebra rushes first to the river, but he gets stuck in the mud. The Crocodile saves Zebra, and regains the trust of other animals.

From that day nobody was afraid to go to the Great River again. Even after the drought, Mohatu often came to visit Crocodile, who was now happy to have friends again.
