Distinguishing Features: brown fur, blaze on front of face, red mane, elbow tufts, blue eyes, dark eyeshades, dark patches on ear tips, colourless front paws, coloured hind paws and thighs, hind legs dark, Outlander nose

Personality: Daren is the one to not stand for any kind of nonsense. He's headstrong, confident and focused. Once he has his mind set on something, he gets it (most of the time). But, he enjoys a lot of fun along with it. You can see him constantly cracking jokes wherever he goes. Deep inside, Daren houses a deep resent for his father and he hopes he can get to confront his father. He hates being put off as a traitor because of his Outlander roots. All in all, he's brave and not afraid of anything (or so he thinks).

History: Daren was born to a Pridelander mother, but he was an accident. His father was a former Outlander who, in passing, met his mother while she was patrolling the borders of the Pridelands. He tried to form a bond with her, but she didn't take lightly to being called a "princess". So, he did the next best thing. He took her over and left her with a cub. Even though his mother regretted the issue, she still loved Daren with all her heart, and gave him all the love of a mother. When he was a little older, she finally told Daren about his heritage, and this set him off. He had spent most of his days being looked down upon because he didn't look anything like the Pridelanders. She comforted him and told him that no matter what, he would always be her son. He accepted that, but he began to form a resentment towards his father in his heart. He promised himself that he would confront his father if it was the last thing he'd do. One afternoon, he was wandering around Pride Rock when he bumped into two cubs named Anuli and Aleksei. He and Anuli hit it off with the start of a great friendship, but Alek wasn't that excited about meeting him.
