Personality: Dotty is, at heart, a kind soul. She hates seeing people suffering and is willing to offer friendship to nearly everyone she meets. However, she often becomes too emotionally invested with people which can lead to her becoming a doormat for everyone to walk over. She is timid, often shying away to the edge of any large gathering. When Dotty gets her heart broken, she gets broken hard. She doesn't have much self confidence and will generally cling to people who are kind to her. She does have some hidden steel but often it takes a lot for it to really show.

History: Dotty was born in the Pridelands, shortly after Scar's own son, Nuka. From she was very young, Dotty would follow Nuka around, wanting to play with him and be his friend even though the older cub found her annoying at first. Nuka did warm to her eventually and the two became friends.

Soon, however, everything changed when Simba overthrew Scar. Dotty and Spotty's mother died in the fire which spread through the Pridelands. Spotty, being the elder, chose to throw her lot in with Zira as she didn't really believe that Simba had returned from the dead, no matter how alike the usurper looked like the dead prince. So when Zira went into exile, Dotty and Spotty followed her.

Dotty was never a soldier, she didn't adjust well to her new life in the Outlands and so became the butt of jokes fairly quickly. The only person who understood and sympathised somewhat was Nuka but by that point he had become obsessed with gaining his mother's approval over Scar's heir, Kovu. Dotty eventually developed deep feelings for Nuka that went far past friendship, she never knew that his attention was elsewhere.

In the end, Dotty didn't participate much in the final battle between the Outsiders and Simba's Pride. She stuck to the edges of the fight, still reeling after Nuka's death in the gorge below. When all was reconciled, Dotty intended to leave the Pridelands after the ceremony honouring the joining of the two prides. 

On her way to the border, she stopped by the site where Nuka had died and made a surprising discovery.

Nuka had been washed up by the flood, ragged, soaked and barely alive. Dotty couldn't believe that he had survived so quickly dragged him to the nearest shelter before running for Rafiki. Nuka's recovery was slow, he had broken his leg from the logs falling on him and the water hadn't done much good either, but he eventually grew healthy due to constant food and assistance from Rafiki.

When he had fully healed, he announced that he was going to start his own pride and invited any of the former Outsiders to join him. Several, including Dotty, agreed to go with him and they settled in the former Outlands which had become lush again when the river washed over the land.

However, happiness was short-lived when Nuka mated with Dotty when she went into heat. 

Nuka quickly claimed that he had never mated with her and to cement this, he took another Outsider known as Scruffy as his true mate. Dotty swiftly realised she was pregnant and when she birthed the cubs, Nuka couldn'g hide the fact that the cubs resembled him. He quickly changed tactics and claimed that Dotty had seduced him against his will. This was the final straw for Dotty, she left her cubs in her half-sister's care and left the pride.

She wandered for a while, not really knowing where to go, when she bumped into two female rogues who welcomes her to join them. The trio went along with each other for a while but eventually Dotty began to pine for her home, her cubs and for Nuka. She left the other lionesses, promising to find them again after she briefly returned home
