When Dusty was born, every one adored her and thought she was beautiful. her parents enjoyed the attention of their new cub, and did their best to show her off. They'd take her wherever they went, placing her proudly on their backs. soon, everyone in the pridelands was aware of her beauty, and no one really stopped to admire her. Angered and ashamed, they stopped taking her out so much.

As Dusty grew older, she met a cub called Mufasa, whom she became great friends with. they played together, shared secrets, told stories, everything. She had no idea that he was king, until he said an off-hand comment about it. However, she still didn't treat him any differently.
