Personality: Emeka is not the brightest, he rarely realizes that he is being duped and even more rarely calls anyone out for it. He loves his older sister fiercely and where she goes he is often not far behind. He wants to protect his family but his sometimes slow nature means that he sometimes doesn't recognise danger until it is too late.

History: Emeka was the result of Tojo and Tama mating while the latter was in heat, Tojo left soon afterwards and Tama returned to the Pridelands with a pregnant Kula, she gave birth to Chike and Emeka before she managed to reach the Pridelands border. As Kula died while giving birth to her own cubs, Tama took the only living cub with her back to the Pridelands and gave him to her half-sister, Zira, to raise.

Emeka was often a great source of annoyance to his sister, constantly playing the tag-along with her and her group of friends. Chike often sent him on wild goose chases to get him out of her hair and the younger cub was all too happy to go along with his sister. Emeka, when not following his sister around, would often stick by his mother and aunt and loved them both as much as he did his sister.

Then everything changed when Tanabi, Rickon and Sarabi were killed. Tama took the two cubs out of the Pridelands and into the savannah due to accusations and suspiscion that Tama may have known that her half-sister was planning to murder the prince. Emeka never believed his aunt would do such a thing and when he said this to his mother she tolf him firmly that he was never to mention 'Auntie Zira' again.

Emeka worried for his sister when she became more withdrawn and often disappeared for hours at a time. He tried to follow her but she always managed to give him the slip. Once, he managed to follow her to the border of the Outlands and saw her speaking with Vitani. however, when Emeka tried to sneak away to tell their mother what he had seen, he was caught by a group of Outlanders.

Emeka managed to escape only because he was found by Vitani, but he didn't get away completely unscarred. Vitani smuggled him back to the border and firmly told him not to come back, to go backt o his sister and mother before something else happened. Emeka, stunned and frightened, agreed and wandered off in the direction of home which actually turned out to be the completely wrong direction and he ended up horribly lost and confused.

For a while, Emeka wandered, growing weaker each day as he disn't know how to cat h food for himself. Eventually, he resorted to fighting off vultures for scraps off carcasses. However, he did encounter problems with a wild dog who preferred fresh meat to a corpse. Emeka managed to fight him off but not without gaining even more scars to add to his slowly growing collection.

It was then that he happened upon Mheetu. The older lion took pity on him and offered him protection whilst he healed from his wounds, Emeka was too desperate and injured to argue. He went with Mheetu and was introduced to his two cubs: Kuiwa and Ekevu.
