Name: Ekevu (meaning 'enlightened' or 'intelligent')

Parents: Mheetu and unknown lioness

Siblings: Kuiwa (half-sister), Emeka (adopted brother)

Personality: Ekevu is very very intelligent for his age, moreso than most other cubs. He mightn't be able to take care of himself but he is far from incompetant and hates people talking down to him or doing things out of pity. His half-sister, Kuiwa, is his rock and he is loyal to her more than anyone else. 

History: Ekevu was the first-born cub of Mheetu and a rogue female whom he met whilst wandering. After a brief tryst, the two parted ways. Some months later, Ekevu was born and his mother left him with Mheetu to raise once he was weaned because she didn't want cubs. Mheetu quickly realised that his son's eyesight was very very poor and he may need constant care for the rest of his life. 

As Ekevu grew older, his eyesight worsened. Eventually, Ekevu went completely blind. 

Ekevu was raised alongside his half-sister, Kuiwa, and the two were extremely close. Kuiwa acting as his eyes and his guide to help him around. She was also his defender from smaller threats like jackals when their father went off to hunt for them both. 

Things changed, one day, when their father returned with another cub in his early teens known as Emeka. He had apparently gotten out of a scrape with some very aggressive lionesses and got lost while trying to find his mother and sister.
