Mheetu is Nala's younger brother, but was cut so he does not appear in the film due to time constraints; little is known about him. However, in an early script of The Lion King, Scar throws Mheetu into a wilderbeest stampede in the gorge as an attempt to lure adolescent Simba to his death, but later rescues Mheetu and survives. 

In most fanarts Mheetu is considered to be around Nala's and Vitani's fur color.

Fun facts:

* Model sheets widely known as Mheetu's concepts were described as Simba in TLK laser disc release. Thom Enriquez, Mheetu's designer, confirmed the cub concepts to be Mheetu, but were given to Simba after Mheetu was cut from the movie.

* In Simba's Pride game Kiara will sometimes say that the cub from cub creator "looks like her cousin", implying that either Nala or Simba had a sibling who had a cub. It may refer to Mheetu's cubs.

* It's possible that Mheetu is the cub that appeared in the end of "Simba And The Snake" comic.
