Personality: Esmeralda is a sweet and open minded girl, who attempts to accept everyone for who they are, and she likes to believe there's something good in all of us. She's helpful and social which makes it easy for her to make new friends. Esmeralda doesn't like seeing her close ones upset, and always tries to make them feel better, and cheer them up with her positive attitude. She hates fighting and violence, and prefers to solve problems with common sense, instead of using her teeth or claws, but if her close ones are being threatened, she is ready to defend them.

History: Esmeralda and her younger brother Edward were born in the jungle, to two lions who lived as loners. Unfortunately Eliza became ill and passed away when Edward and Esmeralda were only 6 weeks old, and Diego had to raise them alone. He taught his cubs everything they needed to know, and how to survive on their one in the big, dangerous world, but then, when Esmeralda and Edward were 5 months old, Diego was killed in a fight with a large tiger. Esmeralda and her brother were left all alone, but Esmeralda said they shouldn't fall into despair, for they still had each other. Esmeralda took care of food, since she was an excellent hunter, and Edward was in charge of protecting and guarding their territory. One day, when Esmeralda was returning from a hunt with empty paws, she caught Edward with a strange male lion who had crossed their territory by mistake. Edward was ready to rip his throat off, but Esmeralda stepped in and told Edward to calm down. When the male turned towards her, Esmeralda noticed he was rather handsome, and when he talked to her, explaining he had accidentally come to their territory and meant no harm, she blushed slightly. They all introduced themselves, and Esmeralda learned that the lion's name was Musabi, and he had been living alone in jungle, just like them. She invited him to stay with them, and he was very greatful for this. Esmeralda and Musabi began to get closer together, and she eventually started falling in love with him. Edward got a bit upset, because Esmeralda was now spending more time with Musabi, than with him, and he started to think his sister had forgot about him. One night when Esmeralda and Musabi had been on a walk together and talking about stuff, they returned and noticed Edward was gone. Esmeralda got scared, and told Musabi she'd have to go look for him. Musabi understood, and he even offered to help her. They went to look for Edward, and soon found him lying on the ground, badly injured. Esmeralda was shocked, and rushed up to her brother, asking what had happened. Edward was in too much pain to talk, and Musabi helped Esmeralda to carry back to their camp. When Edward woke up, he told then he had been attacked by a group of panthers. Esmeralda felt terrible, and she thought it was her fault that Edward had been hurt. Edward told her it wasn't her fault, and that he had just been too jealous, and then all three lived peacefully together.
