Personality:  Ewan is a born leader, he is brave and daring. He is intelligent and cunning. He never runs away from a fight. He is loyal to his convictions and would do anything for those he loves.

History: Ewan is the eldest son of Kirkan the leader of the pride in the Northwest.

Ewan's mother died when he was very young. Then his father found another couple and with she had two cubs called Carter and Soka.

Ewan and Carter got along very well, despite being half brothers they were very good friends. Ewan was always responsible for them, his father had to Ewan in charge of caring for others as he was the eldest of the three.

To Carter and Soka not worried at anything. They were very young and only cared about playing.

One day Carter and Soka moved away too. They started playing and suddenly noticed that it was getting dark, then walked home but heard some screams and growls behind them. Soka began to mourn for it was very small. His brother told him to walk, then appeared before them a huge hyena. The two cubs ran as fast as he could but the hyena was behind them.

Ewan was there looking around his brothers when he heard all the commotion. He ran up there and found his brothers trying to escape a hyena. Ewan was scared, but I could not let them die. Decided that he must face it and he did. Was placed between his brothers and hyena and began to roar as loudly as he could. He fought fiercely trying to keep out the hyena. The hyena bit him and he gave him a couple of scratches on his face. His brothers were behind him. But Soka was unconscious, at some time of the attack the hyena had bitten him and now he was badly wounded.

Ewan knew he could not win this battle so yelled at Carter to go for help. His brother ran and disappeared into the grass. Then his father finally arrived, and got rid of that hyena. Soka's mother came to cure her cub and the whole pride was very proud of Ewan, who despite being only a cub had managed to deal with a hyena himself.

Suddenly, the celebration was interrupted by a terrifying question: Where is Carter?

No one saw him since then, many lions went looking but nobody could find it. In the end, it was assumed he had been killed by a hyena. This greatly hurt Ewan, it was his brother, his best friend. But Kirkan not let this torment his son, talked to him and convinced him that he had done all he could and that Carter's death was not his fault, he blamed the hyenas to attack without provocation. And this had a big effect on Ewan because since then he began to feel a deep hatred against them.

Time passed and Ewan grew. As expected became a great next leader. His father named him in charge of all warriors and hunting. Also always was patrolling the territory of the pride and made sure as not to leave, not a single hyena on their land. Ewan was in no hurry to become king, really liked his job and was good at it.

Ewan eventually also became the ambassador of the pack. So his father sent him to visit South pride to speak personally with the leader and redefine the limits of the territory.

It was the first time Ewan, visiting that herd so do not know how others would receive him. He arrived in the evening and was looking for someone from the pack. Finally he saw a group of lions, were two lioness and a lion, Ewan came to talk to them. But the male growled as not expecting. Ewan came and said:

-Hi guys! Sorry I did not mean to scare you, I came from the Northern Pride please let me introduce myself, my name is Ewan.

The lions  were presented and talked each other finally said: "We will take you to Simba." Ewan did not know who  Simba was, but he expected he was the king of that pride. Meanwhile one of the two lionesses caught the attention of Ewan, he looked at her and she looked back but did not say anything. They finally arrived to Simba and Ewan was presented and addressed the issue with him.

Another day  Ewan went to the South pride, but on the way he heard someone calling for help. He ran over there and found Amy along with another lioness with a black face (Emily) trapped in a hole. He approached, bowed and said he would go for help but then the black-faced lioness took his arm, dug her claws on it and used it to get out. But while she did, she pulled Ewan and he fell into the hole along with Amy. As soon as Emily came out, ran away from the place.

Amy and Ewan were trapped together inside that hole. They looked and said a sweet "Hi" to each other. They started talking and discovered they had much in common and were pleased with each other. Suddenly Amy looked Ewan leg and it was bloodied by Emily scratch.

-Let me help - Amy said. As she took a piece of a small plant growing in the ground beside her. Placed it gently on the painful hand of Ewan. And he looked at her with affection, thanking. - Ewan, this plant will help you, is curative -.

Ewan looked into her eyes and said - I appreciate ... - And then he was silent as if he did not know what to say

- Don´t worry Ewan - Amy said as she lowered her eye and was nursing his leg - I know it must be hard for you, knowing so many lionesses daily ...

- I do remember your name Amy - Ewan said as he held her hand and looked into her eyes

Suddenly the two stayed in a magical moment, time stopped, looked at each other, they approached, they would kiss and then ...

- Amy! Ewan! Are you okay?? - Celeste said so she had been searching for her friend and finally found her

- We are fine Celeste! - Amy answered

- Okay, hang on! I'll go get help! - yelled Celeste.

Soon came the other lions of the pride and helped out.

But to Ewan and Amy nothing was ever the same.

Thereafter they began to see each other. And there were still outstanding issues between their prides so Ewan was always available to go to the South pride so he could see Amy…
