Personality: Fayola is your classic sweet natured lioness. SHe's always looking out for adventure and will stop at nothing, which often gets her and her brother into trouble. As she grows into a beautiful adult liones, she begins to feel the pressure of being the future queen. She's great at hiding things, as it shows when she hides how pressured she's feeling.

History: Fayola was born along with her older twin brother Lutalo when Simba stepped down and let Kiara and Kovu take over. Their births were a time of happiness in the pride as they finally had heirs to the throne. But, for Kovu and Kiara, their cubs were more than just heirs, they were lives. Kovu and Kiara agreed on the names of Fayola and Lutalo for their "little miracles". Since birth, Lutalo was dubbed heir to the throne after Kovu passed away. Fayola realised as she grew that her brother was beginning to spend less and less time with her. She took refuge in her aunt Zuwena, and this created a bond between the two. Zuwena told her that her brother was going to rule the kingdom one day, and that's why he recieved so much training, to prepare him for that day. Fayola silently wished it could be her in his place, but was happy for him nonetheless. Her aunt had told her the story of Scar and Mufasa and how Scar became so power-hungry he killed his own brother. Fayola sort of began to understand how Scar felt when his brother was taken away for king training, but swore that she would never go to that length as she loved her brother too much to just throw it all away. As both siblings spent time with Zuwena, she realised that Lutalo wasn't right for the throne and that his destiny lay elsewhere. Zuwena tried telling Kovu that, but he just pushed her off. When Fayola and Lutalo were a nearing their teen years, tragedy struck. Their aunt Zuwena ran into their uncle Nyasi, who claimed to have the right to be king and would do anything to get it. But Fayola wasn't at the scene. She was busy with her parents and grandparents. Just then, what surprised her was that Lutalo came running up, looking panic-stricken. In a shaky voice, he told them that their aunt Zuwena was fighting "a strange new lion". They all rushed to the scene to help incase there was any need, but what they saw was nothing but blood. That day changed something in Fayola. She promised herself that she would make her aunt proud, whatever it took. In their late teens, Lutalo told his parents that he didn't want to be king anymore as he wasn't into it. He told them that if there was someone right for the throne, it was his sister, Fayola. Kovu and Kiara accepted it and made Fayola the heir instead. She asked him what he would do now that he wasn't future king anymore, to which he replied "Meh, I'll stick around, I guess. Just be a normal pridemember, maybe even make my own pride one day." As the days went by, Fayola grew more pressured and was thankful her rbother was there to help her. Then the day came when Kiara asked Fayola to find a king. Fayola told her mother that finding a mate wasn't going to be easy as none of the lions in the pride were capable. And to top it all off, she wanted a mate she could love. Kiara told her to take her time, but speed it up a bit as she and Kovu were slowly nearing their end and Simba and Nala were already sick. Fayola nodded, understanding and sought refuge in her brother. He suggested that she go on patrol for a while to calm her mind. Fayola thanked Lutalo and went on patrol. At the border, she heard a lion stumbling. Immediately, she jumped out and pinned him to the ground, demanding to kno what he was doing on her father's land. Then she noticed his wounds and got off him and told him that he needed help. She took him back to Pride Rock with her and introduced herself to him on the way. She found out his name was Maxx. She got Rafiki to give him some medical attention and her parents let him stay for a while. She and Maxx became good friends, and she started to develop feelings for him. Kiara understood her daughter's feelings but Kovu did not. So, Kiara bethrothed them both, so that they could be together. Fayola loved her mother even more for this, but this created a tiny argument between her and her brother as Lutalo was just being the overprotective older brother.
