  History

 

 

Gift was born in Zira's dominion and quite liked it there until she saw how beautiful and plentiful the Pride Lands were. Within herself, she wished to live there; she kept this a secret so that her mother Zira wouldn't kick her out, because Gift loved her family. Fortunately, Zira didn't pay much attention to Gift, as she was very angry after her son, Ravel, abandoned the Outlanders.

 

Gift's rank  in the Outlander Pride was a tiring one; she had to search for food, which usually had to be found many miles out of the territory. Gift occasionally met Kiara in secret. They talked about their Prides and lives, how to help each-other etc...

 

Gift wasn't very fond of her adopted brother Kovu, because he was taught by Zira to kill Simba. Gift knew nothing of Zira's plans, so when the scheme of Kovu saving Kiara, and joining the Pridelanders was being set, Gift went into a panic seeing the fire. Gift never knew where Kovu went. She began to get worried. Then one dark rainy night, Zira gathered the Outlanders to fight the Pridelanders.

 

Gift obeyed, although reluctantly, due to her dislike of violence (she was crying at the thought that she might end up dead). Also, she didn't want to fight Kiara's Pride.

The battle started. After Kiara and Kovu stopped the war, Gift more than willingly joined the Pridelanders. Later, she met Ravel and joined his.
