Personality: Hala is very playful and energetic. She is sweet and polite. At first, she seems spoiled but Hala is very smart and cunning. She is observant and cares a lot about her family. She is always up for a challenge and loves to play. She sometimes can’t be serious but knows her values and makes good decisions.

History: Hala is the daughter of Kula and Kopa. Being the first and only cub, she was spoiled from the start. Her life in royalty made it so that there was always someone who’d do anything for her. Hala had a younger cousin, named Asante. Kopa and Kiara decided to raise their cubs together. From the very start, Hala and Asante were put together. They instantly became best friends.

Both cubs loved to play and explore. They’d often run off and get into trouble. The two loved to play pranks and because they were spoiled, their punishments never lasted for long. Hala and Asante never really got into fights, although they’d occasionally poke fun at each other. They loved each other.

One day, the two went out exploring. They were play wrestling by the river, which current was a little too strong that day. They accidentally slipped and both fell straight into the icy water. The two struggled and called for help but it was no use. Hala was screaming and panicking once she spotted the waterfall at the end of the river. Asante spotted a tree branch and pushed her up to it. Hala grabbed Asante, and the two were able to reach safety. Then, they realized they were on the other side of the river. They were no longer in the Pride Lands. Suddenly, there was a loud screeching noise. It made both cubs jump and take off in the other direction. They ran and ran until they were completely exhausted. Asante noticed there was nothing familiar near them. The two cubs were completely lost.

They thought quickly, and knew they had to find shelter. It was getting dark soon. Both cubs were smart but a little lazy. It took a while, but they made a shelter for themselves. Hala and Asante never left each other’s side. They soon were forced to find food for themselves.

It was weeks later. They had a place to stay and food to eat but were desperately missing their home. Kopa and Kiara were very worried. They sent out search parties as soon as the two cubs disappeared. Hala and Asante were able to grow up and take care of themselves just find, though. In time, they were rescued.

Hala was very glad to be back home. She missed her father most of all. Asante and Hala never acted spoiled again. They were more responsible than ever. Hala grew up into a beautiful lioness. She was more serious and alert. The experience as a cub made her stronger and smarter.
