Bio: During Scar's reign he had cubs with many lionesses, starting with Nala. Scar was displeased that Nala had given him girls, the twins Vitani and Hataki. Nala wasn't too pleased about these cubs herself, so she handed them over to Scar's favored lioness Zira. Zira took Vitani happily because of her heavy resemblance to Scar, but rejected Hataki because she looked too much like Nala. Nala had no choice but to keep Hataki under her paw.

Nala had to run for help, so she left a young cub Hataki with Kula, who already had her own cub from Scar. Hataki cried, not knowing where her mother was, but Kula made her feel much better. Soon Nala returned with a strange lion called Simba, who ended up killing her father. This didn't phase Hataki much, as she wasn't very close to her father. Nala openly admitted to Simba that she had beared cubs for Scar, and he was furious. He exiled Hataki along with the outlanders.

Even among the outlanders, however, she was unloved. So she ran away from them as well, and stayed in a jungle close to the Pridelands, where she could watch over her mother and new sister, Kiara as she grew into an adult.

When she heard the news that the Outlanders and the Pridelanders had joined with each other again, she attempted to gain Simba's love again. Simba found that this time he could not blame her for what her father did. She was accepted into the Pridelands and her mother, Nala was admittedly happy to see her.
