Personality: Hodari is a total opposite of his sister Kaya. He is a quiet and observative guy who barely trusts anyone, he's suspicious and pretty much prefers to stay on his own rather than hanging around other lions. He's more like his father Scar, all though he is not nearly as cruel and power hungry as him, but he is a lion who doesn't let anyone boss him around or tell him what to do, and he's always ready to fight when he's challenged or defend himself if it's needed. Hodari is a very clever boy, just like his name says, and he isn't fooled easily, he can see right away if someone is plotting something or if you have bad intensions. He's easily affected by the sayings of others, and that's why it's not hard to get him to do something he might later discover is actually wrong. 

History: Hodari was the first born cub to Scar and his chosen queen, Sarafina with one younger sister Kaya. As a cub he was happy and adventurous boy, who loved his sister more than anything in the world and they were in fact best friends, they did everything together, and shared all their secrets, in good and bad. However, being the older sibling had it's downsides, since when Scar declared Hodari was to follow in his footsteps as the next king, everything changed. He started training Hodari, putting him through a lot of pressure and hard work, and in time he and Kaya grew further and further apart from each other. Hodari didn't realy notice this happen, but Kaya did. As they reached their teens, Scar's reign had really took it's toll on the pride, the hyenas were in charge and the herds had long fled the lands, making it harder and harder to find food. Lots of members of the pride were starving to death, but Hodari was made believe by Scar that everything was all right, and what they were doing was the right thing for the pride. Believing his father's words, Hodari did nothing to stop the pride from dying, and one night Kaya came confront him, and couldn't understand why he would allow all this to happen. At that time Hodari couldn't understand his sister anger and frustration, and just went along with Scar's horrible plans. But one night, when he accidentally overheard Scar talking to the hyenas about the former king Mufasa and prince Simba, and discovered it Scar who caused their deaths, and it was all a plot to get the throne, Hodari's eyes opened in the most shocking possible way, he knew his sister had been right all along, he rushed up to Kayla, and told her everything he had heard, and then he joined her a rogue named Roy in their rebellion against Scar's reign of terror, to save their home pride.
