Name: Illah (pronounced EYE-la meaning 'shadow' in Hebrew)

Parents: Tojo and Mila (a random Outsider lioness)

Siblings: Dotty and Spotty (half-sisters)

Crush: Chaka (Claire Cooper)

Personlity: Illah is quite shy and introverted. She is intelligent but tends to keep her ideas to herself. She is often quite awkward around those her own age and tends to only open up to her father and sometimes Chaka. She often feels alienated because of her parentage (being a mix of Pridelander and Outsider).

History: Illah was born shortly after the royal twins, Chaka and Kiara, but before the Outsiders were banished. Her mother was one of Zira's loyal lionesses but her father was Tojo, one of Simba's good friends. When the Outsiders wee banished her mother left Illah with Tojo in the Pridelands, knowing her daughter wouldn't survive the harsh conditions of the Outlands.

Illah grew up ignorant that her mother was considered her 'enemy' and from an early age developed a crush on Chaka, but her shy nature meant she often watched from afar as he flirted with other lionesses. She was often teased for her looks, not looking like an Outsider but not quite looking like a Pridelander either.

As she grew, Illah began to catch the attention of the pride for her brains and ability to think quickly whilst on a hunt. When Kovu came to Priderock, she took an intrest in him, mainly because she hadn't seen any lions with fur as dark as her's before. She often sought Chaka's company, since Kiara was always off with Kovu and tried to make him feel more open about the young Outsider, it didn't work but she tried nonetheless.

Eventually, her father decided to reveal her true heritage to her. He tried to explain about her mother being and Outsider and this both shocked and horrified Illah. She alwasy believed her mother was a Pridelander who died soon after her birth.

She ran away from Priderock hust before the final battle with the Outsiders.

When she finally returned to Priderock, it was only to discover that the war with the Outsiders had been declared over. Kovu and Kiara were going to become mates and the Outsiders were now living at Priderock. She was finally introduced to her mother, Mila, and her two half-sisters, Dotty and Spotty.

Illah still harboured feelings for Chaka but is still quite shy about revealling them to him. However, Chaka's intrests seemed fixed on an Outsider female, Kovu's sister, Vitani. Illah often saw the two together and soon began to feel both jealous and depressed. Jealous that Vitani was getting all of Chaka's affection and depressed because she felt Chaka would never look at her anyway.

Eventually, Illah could stand it no longer. She managed to get Chaka to talk to her in private and told him of her feelings for him and expressed the wish that he and Vitani would be happy together. Although she couldn't have predicted what happened next
