Likes: As a cub: annoying the hyenas and chasing gazelle fawns, Simba, his mother. Older: hunting, fighting, exploring, Simba, his mother, Aries

Dislikes: staying still for too long, having to care for the nursing queens as a cub, being around others even though he was a rouge for a short while.

Personality: as a cub he is very rambunctious and has a hard time staying still right from the time he could crawl, and many said he would be a handful for his mother, a rebel, when he got older(and boy were they right!), which is how he got his name. As he grows he calms down a bit but is still high energy, but he puts it into hunting for the pride and later when he becomes a rouge for the same reason, he puts some of it into hunting for himself.

History: Karega was born in the pride-lands soon after Simba took over the throne, his mother had heard that king Scar had been overthrown and, being a rouge whose mate had been killed, she returned to the pride-lands, where she had fled when Scar came to power, in hopes that Simba would allow her into the pride so she could have a safe place to raise her cubs. Simba let her join, seeing she was pregnant and knowing it wouldn't be safe for a single lioness and her cubs to be without a pride. Soon after his mother was accepted into the pride, Karega was born.

Karega was a very rambunctious and troublesome as a cub, always keeping his mother on her toes. If he wasn't annoying the hyenas, he was trying to tag a long with the lionesses on hunts or chasing gazelle fawns he found hidden in the tall grasses by their mothers. One good thing came of this though, he became an exceptional hunter and fighter early on And one day, around the time that Nala was pregnant with Kiara, Simba caught him chasing gazelle fawns and reprimanded him harshly, after that Simba made Karega help the two nursing queens, for a month, by taking out the dirty bedding, etching new bedding and checking them over for ticks or any sort of parasite, he hated using mouse bile to get ticks to pop off, that stuff reeked!. One day, Simba took Karega out and told him about the circle of life and how each animal relied on another for survival, and that his chasing the gazelle fawns put them in more danger since other predators would see them and make an easy meal out of them, so there would be less gazelle to go around in the future.

Karega then decided to never chase gazelle fawns again and as he grew up he matured and stopped his other antics, much to his mother's relief. When he was just a teen, he became an essential part of the hunting parties, and brought a lot of prey in due to his exceptional hunting skills. Soon Karega decided he wanted to go out on his own and became a rouge but stayed within or near the pride-lands. Soon after that was when he bumped into a lioness and her sister while he was hunting. He was almost immediately struck with how beautiful he though the older of the two lionesses was, but he didn't let it affect him much. Though that didn't seem to matter as she gave him the cold shoulder, whereas the younger one, Vampire as he came to find out, was more welcoming than her older sister and let him stay with them. On day, they met another lion, named Simon, and he could tell that vampire liked him, and that Simon liked her, so he offered for him to join them, and Simon accepted. Karega started to give vampire and Simon their space and hung out a little more with Aries, who, seeing how nice he was with her sister, opened up to him a little and had stopped giving him the cold shoulder. Soon, Karega and Aries bonded and became close friends and spent a lot of time together. That was when they decided to return to the pride-lands and he met Fluffy, who was born a while after he had left and Aries became great friends with her. Karega and Aries continued to spend more time together and got even more close and he began to have a crush on her, and she, he found out much to his glee, that she had one on him also. ~More to come when I get more details figured out~

Relation to TLK: Grew up in the pride-lands and later returned there after being a rouge, knew Simba.
