History: Like all cubs born during Scar's reign, she was a failed attempt at an heir. Her mother had the recessive gene that produces white cubs and had a 50/30 chance of producing white offspring. Though Kash isn't 100% white, she still was within the 30% range and was born opaque. Unlike her half sisters and brothers, she'd wanted the attention of her father, and, because she was a failure, Scar rejected the cub with a cold shoulder time and tiem again when she tried getting close to him. 

As Kash grew, she'd learned to hunt bigger prey and eventually became leader of a hunting party once leadership skills showed through. It wasn't long before even the larger prey had left. Kash and her hunting party, who'd by now become like a splinter pride, knew that there was only one way to survive Scar's rule. One day, they took the opportunity and fled the Pridelands, only to be met with a troop of hyenas. With Kash's orders, the lionesses managed to break free, but not without dealing a blow to Scar's forces. Little did she know, Kash had unexpectedly helped another soul escape Pride Rock that day while the hyenas were distracted by her own escape. 

Kash had eventually led her splintered pride out of the desolate Pridelands and south, following the once flourishing river. Their journey had eventually taken them to an oasis in the middle of the desert where the river gorge meets. Because they had taken to the lowlands of the jungle in which where open area meets jungle cover, the locals have resulted in calling them Lowlanders. Liking the sound of it, even Kash had adopted it as their title. Over time Kash had proven that Lowlanders are not meant to be trusted. At least for now, Kash and her small pride could rest easy compared to what they'd been through to escape. That is, till Zira appeared in their shadow.
