Personality:Kaya is a reckless,thoughtless and care-free bundle of hyperness.She would run around the place at random,not caring if she got hurt.She's playful and very high spirited.She's also brave and determined to keep the 'family' she has.She tends to act first and think later,which she usually regrets.Kaya is the sort of girl you'd want to be friends with,but also the sort of girl you'd not want to annoy,as she tends to throw a tantrum if someone annoys her too much.She's not extremely sensitive,but she gets upset if someone says anything about her parents abandoning her.

History:When Kaya was born,she was very ill and weak.Her parents saw her as a burden and left the  weak and sick cub to die in the wilderness.Kaya was near death when Kovu had found her.Even though he didn't know the cub,he felt as if he and the cub felt a connection; that their parents didn't want them unless they were perfect.He took the cub in,and raised her as his own.Kiara didn't like the cub,seeing as she was pretty much demanding constant attention from her mate Kovu.She wanted the cub gone,but sadly,Kaya stayed and made the Queen's life sheer hell.

When Kaya was old enough to talk,she wouldn't shut up.Kovu didn't mind all her talking,he was happy the cub wasn't bothered by the fact she had no blood related family.To Kaya,even if your not blood related,your still family.Kaya was always full of questions and didn't hesitate to ask anyone a random question.She was always very interested in the stories from the past,and was always intruged by the stories of Scar.She never really got why he was so evil,but decided that his ways were wrong.But,she believed he still deserved to be forgiven,and growled at anyone who talked bitterly about him.

When Kaya grew up,she became a beautiful lioness.She was still headstrong and stubborn,and was very reckless,but she had matured and wouldn't hesitate to take in anyone sick or injured.She also became strong,as Kovu had trained her in fighting.She adored her father to no end,and thought her life was perfect... until news came that Kovu had been ambushed and was killed.Kaya was heartbroken.The only one who cared for her,pretty much saved her life,was now dead.

That night,she had a strange dream of Scar.He told her that from now on,he'd watch over her as she was only one who truely forgave him for his sins.After that,she felt Scar's spirit watch over her and she felt protected.She also became smarter,and more cunning.However,she didn't abuse this and do something she'd regret.Scar had warned her about it,to use her intelligence wisely.She did just this,and became the hunting party's leader.She led them to succesful hunts,and never disobeyed the lands hunting rules.She never attacked a pregnant animal,as the land needs more prey to feed on.So,pregnant animals are to never be hunted.

Kaya became a famous lioness in the Pride,and Kiara finally approved of her.However,Kiara was forced to step down from the throne as she no heirs to become the next ruler..There was a lot of bickering in the Pride Lands over who would become the next Queen.Even though she had no royal blood in her,Kaya was chosen to become the Pride Lands new Queen.Kaya was delighted,and accepted this great responablity.She lead the Pride Lands well,and at the moment,is looking for a kind,responsible mate to rule alongside her.Still,Scar's spirit helped her  through all the troubles,and she felt as if she was born to do this.She hoped Kovu was watching her,and was proud of her.

She grow very close to Ranulf.He seemed friendly,and he cared for Kovu just as much as she had.The more she hung out with him,the more she began to like him.She soon fell in love with him.She couldn't help it,he was handsome,strong,everything she could possibly want.She told him how she felt,and he returned the feelings.The two happily became mates,and Ranulf became King.
