History:Kayla was born during a secret affair between Tojo and Kiara.The two were caught when Kiara became pregnant with Tojo's cub.Kovu felt extremely betrayed by this,and exiled Tojo from the Pridelands.Kiara was devastated,but what was done was done.It couldn't be refversed.After some time,Kayla was born.She was a perfect mix of both her parents,but her attitude defiantly came from her mother.She was bratty and stuck up as a young cub.She didn't take any crap from anyone,no matter who they were.

Kiara grew very worried about Kayla.She believed her daughter would get into a lot of trouble the way she was acting.But when she tried to talk to her,Kayla simply turned her nose and walked away.She didn't really care about anything really.All that mattered was herself,according to her.She attracted the attention of many males as she grew into her teens,none of which interested Kayla.

As a cub,and even as a young adult,Kayla hated Kovu.She didn't find it fair that Kovu had exiled her father.She wanted to meet him more than anything in the world,but her mother wouldn't let her out.When Kayla tried to talk to Kiara about this,the older lioness wouldn't listen and just said 'Kovu's the king,he can do what he likes'. This made Kayla even more furious.

But,Kiara noticed a huge difference in Kayla as she grew older.She was starting to think less of herself and more of others,though she still had that stubborn,fiesty attitude..Kayla really did change for the better,annd she became a very sensible adult in which the pride loved.Kopa was proud of his niece,and Kayla spent a lot of time with her uncle,even if she wasn't going to become Queen.She didn't need that reason to spend time with her uncle.

However,Kayla's hatred towards Kovu only grew as she did.She hated and cursed him for exiling her father,and that nobody would let her go find him. Kovu didn't like her either; after all,she was his mate's cub but not his own,and that wasn't what he wanted.Kayla has tried numerous times to leave,but was always found in the end.
