Story: Kayode and his few minutes younger sister were born in the Pride lands, around the same time as their uncle, king Simba and queen Nala had their daughter. Since they were young, they were always best friends with their cousin, princess Kiara, and the three of them loved playing together, even though his sister Dalia always was closer with Kiara, mainly because he was the only male among the trio. Kayode admired his father a lot, and hoped that he too could one day become the captain of the guard and a great soldier like Jabari. As a cub Kayode was a bit more on the mischevious side, and often got himself in trouble, but he was very protective towards his sister and sometimes it got to the point where Dalia was actually a little annoyed by him, though she knew he meant well. He often practiced his fighting skills, mostly to impress his father but also to one day join the royal guard, though Jabari explained to him that a soldier didn't just need to be a good fighter, he needed to have good judgement skills and to be ready to sacrifice himself if needed. Kayode thought about his father's words carefully, and knew he needed a change in his attitude if he ever wished to follow in Jabari's foot steps.
