Story: Dalia and her older brother Kayode were born in the Pride lands, around the same time as king Simba and queen Nala had their daughter. Ever since they were young, she was very close with her cousin princess Kiara, the two were almost like best friends, and her brother often was left out since he was the only male of the trio. He was very protective of her, and often it got up to the point when Dalia got annoyed, even though she knew Kayode meant well. Unlike her brother, Dalia was always a very kind and sweet cub who obeyed the rules, and while Kayode was busy following their father around and practicing his fighting skills, she usually stayed with their mother, had walks with her and Kalina taught her about life and one day surviving on her own. Dalia had a specially close bond with her mother, even though she did love both her parents, and she was still a daddy's girl too. Some time later, she grew suspicious when her cousin Kiara met a strange lion cub named Kovu, who they later learned was from a different pride called the Outlanders. Kiara often spoke about him, which worried Dalia, and soon she heard from her father that this was an enemy pride lead by a former follower of Scar. Dalia wanted to warn Kiara, but since it didn't seem likely for her to meet him again, she kept it to herself and hoped she would just forget about him.
