Personality:Kgosi is a kind, sweet gentleman who is family oriented and a very optimistic lion. He is known to have a smile on his face, all the time. While he loves to joke  around, Kgosi can also be shy around new people. He is and organized, typical Pride Lander boy who loves to wake up early. He is great with cubs and seems to get along with everyone. Kgosi can be known for believe in those fairly tale endings but he is also known for wanting something fun and exciting.

History:

Kgosi was born in the Pride Lands during the time when Kovu and Kiara ruled. His parents were both very loving and talkative. As a young cub, Kgosi did not misbehave often. He would make a few mistakes every now and then but so did every cub. He would go to bed when told to but always woke up very early, just to watch the sun rise. He was always extremely shy around new people but, around his close friends and family, he could also become this very hyper and cheerful cub. Kgosi looked up to his father, a strong Pride Lander male, but there was nothing he loved better than spending the afternoon with his mother. Just like his mother, Kgosi was very sweet and kind. His parents taught him to always be polite, and Kgosi never questioned it once. 

As a teen, Kgosi did not change much but he certainly grew. He was a handsome lion that girls fell for. Kgosi believed that everyone had a soul mate so he often looked for his. Sadly, non of the girls in the Pride Lands fit that description.There was no magic between them. His mother questioned why her son was so anti-social at this young age but no one could fully answer. When asked what he looked for in a girl, Kgosi would explain he simply wanted a girl he had fun with and nothing every got boring. He was often with his family, or playing with younger cubs during this time in his life. He didn't spend too much time with lions his age. Pride Lander females were all over Kgosi as time went on but he never found exactly what he was looking for. Kgosi's father tried to tell his son that what he was looking for may not come around and he should seize the moment but Kgosi could never agree. He politely turned down his father's opinion and went on with his life.

Kgosi soon grew into a young adult. Kipawa, Kiara and Kovu's son, was preparing to be king and take the throne when a mysterious lioness came to the Pride Lands. She claimed Kovu was her father. Everyone was skeptical at first but, after taking a closer look, it became clear that there were many similarities between the lioness and Kovu. Her name was Hiari and, when Kgosi first saw the lioness, he was stunned by her. She was beautiful, but she also had this confident look to her. The way she carried herself was amazing. It made Kgosi's heart flutter. It was proven that Hiari was the daughter of Kovu. Her mother was Baya, the lioness Kovu was engaged to before meeting Kiara. Baya was sick so Hiari came to the Pride Lands, hoping her father would be able to help. Kovu happily helped Hiari and Baya. Kgosi watched Hiari from a distance for a while. She was strong, independent, and beautiful. He fell in love. He, finally, managed to introduce himself to her, but Hiari was difficult to impress. However, Kgosi refused to give up. Baya was given the medicine, but that did not help her condition. Hiari was often out on her own, and Kgosi would "accidentally" run into her. They two would have a few conversations, each getting longer. Then, when Baya died, Hiari was crushed. Kgosi was there, though. He didn't force her to talk about it but he was there for comfort. He was there to remind her she was not alone. 

After that, the two became good friends. Hiari didn't talk to the other Pride Landers much, but Kgosi became her best friend. The more the hung out, the more Kgosi was sure that Hiari was his soul mate. She mad every day interesting. She wasn't always easy to get along with but Kgosi always had fun with her. They were two very different lions but they seemed to magically get along. Then, one day, Hiari was out hunting. Something must have scared a large heard of animals because a stampede began, right where Hiari was trying to hunt. She saw it and tried her best to get away but she was quickly surrounded. Kgosi wasn't really doing much at the time, and he saw the strange sight. He realized that's where Hiari must be and rushed into action. He did his best to simply run in and save her, like in one of those stories, but he ended up causing more trouble. Kgosi managed to reach Hiari but when he tried to escape with her, he was trampled. Hiari was the one who dragged him into a ditch, where the two hid until the stampede ended. Kgosi was embarrassed but Hiari didn't care. He may not have saved her like a super hero, but the thought was still there. It made Hiari look at Kgosi a different way.

Kgosi did finally confess his feelings and, surprisingly, Hiari shared them without hesitation. While dating, the two experienced many fights. They were very different but Kgosi made sure to give all of hi attention to Hiari. He was there, even if she didn't want him to be. He wasn't clingy but Hiari soon couldn't stay too far away from him. They were in love and soon became mates.
