Age: varies, between Simba and his children's generations/adolescent at Simba's prelion age

Personality: An arrogant, self-centered feline casanova, Kivaku is bold and quite the charmer. He enjoys being a tease to the lionesses he meets, making them all smitten before going on his way. All his tactics pay off; he travels alone and won't stick around long. His home is nowhere, his staying place a boarding house: he stays with the prides he meets for several weeks before making off. He uses the females to his advantage, as he has good favor if he has to return to their prides. However, he rarely does, and if he does return llater, the females remember him, but he doesn't remember them. He is slowly, vaguely noticing his might want to settle down, but he doesn't  show. Kivaku also is currently staying with Simba's pride, disaproving of Simba's leniency. He thinks a king must be strict, caring, brave. He doesn't think a female should be heir to the throne; he believes that when a king has a daughter, he should find a promising young male to be his heir. Kivaku is rather rude toward Kovu, deadpan and disapproving of the outsider. However he is rather interested in Nala and Kula, having a few lionesses following him. He does have a curious, cubbish nature to him, however; Kivaku can often be found playing with the cubs, teaching them to fight and hunt before it turns into a game.

History: Kivaku doesn't remember his birth place, but his first memories were in a pack of cheetahs. They chased him off when he was old enough and Kivaku's travelling life began. The young lion was just growing his mane at that point and didn't know how to hunt properly. He survived on insects, other animals' kills and lizards.  He witnessed the stampede that killed Mufasa, but moved on fairly quickly before crossing paths with a young Simba. He originally planned to stay in the jungle awhile, and when he did, his stay was longer than expected. He got along fine with the slightly older cub, but Kivaku's arrogant, curious nature clashed heavily with Timon's self-centered and Pumbaa's dimwitted personalities. He was an excellent swimmer and a pair of sharp claws, and was difficult to anger. He eventually left that part of the jungle though, and went on to find they were not far from a pride.

This pride was very  deeply rooted to the forest, living on the edge of a grassland which held home to many hoove animals. Kivaku stayed awhile, developing a partly grown mane. he began attracting females at that point, and took advantage of it. He was a bold and arrogant one and the pride's adults soon taught him to hunt. Be became valued as a part of the pride, but he left.

Kivaku passed through several other prides for short times until finding his way to a mountain tribe. These lions looked horribly thin, but he soon realized they lacked fat, not muscle. they were actually quite powerful, and their leader, Anaasi, told him a story of an awful monarch from their former pride. He sounded terribly tyranical and unkind, hawing no heirs and murdering any and all males who made eye contact, especially cubs other than his son. Anaasi said he stepped forward and killed the evil one, but his son, now a very young adult lion, banished him and his followers. Anaasi desperately needed the help of Kivaku, to get in the old tribe and kill the king who was no better than his father. Kivaku was moved, seeing young cubs, lionesses, beautiful ones, starving. He agreed, and after being excepted into the other tribe, he attacked the young king Bora. He demanded to know why Kivaku was acting in such a brutal manner. Kivaku explained, but was met with horror: Bora was a great young king, his followers loved him and any fear he'd seen was of attack by Anaasi. Kivaku had been lied to. He soon apologyzed and was sent to meet the Snow Mountain tribe's best hunteress, Nyama. She was a pretty lioness, heavily built. The two were sent on a mission to get rid of the tribe of betrayers. After returning with false information of Bora's death, Kivaku and Nyama led Anaasi to an ambush. They successfully chased off the betrayers, who settled lower in the mountains, but Anaasi refused and stood his ground. Kivaku had to kill him.

Later Kivaku left, meeting Simba and being taken in where he currently stays. He slowly is realizing he wants to stop travelling... doesn't mean he'll stop chasing after Nala, Kula, Vitani, Kiara, and the others, though.
