Personality: Kivuli is a cruel and selfish lion in nature. He only thinks about himself and even can trick his own ones in dangers to save himself. Kivuli cares about nobody. He hates females, and always badbacks about them. However, he could be flirty to some lionesses and play with her emotions for a little time. Kivuli is full of cleverness and trickiness.

History:

Kivuli was born to a distant relative of Mohatu's father, the king of the Pridelands of that time. He was born a lot before Mohatu was born. Mohatu's mother was having trouble in becoming pregnant, and the king thought that he wouldn't have any cubs at all. So, he decided Kivuli would be the crown prince. He began to train him as he grew.

Kivuli was always a selfish kind of cub and his eyes always reflected hate and clumsiness. The king worried if Kivuli was really fit to be the king, but there was no other choice as there were no other heirs or male cubs. At first, little Kivuli was told that he would be the next king and was given simple lessons and the king talked to him about the circle of life. Kivuli thought that it was fun. He thought that, being king meant that he could do whatever he wanted. He started to show off, hurt and bully other female cubs in the pride, tortured any kind of baby animals for no reason, give orders to the female cubs, behaved rudely with elders etc. But ofcourse he tried to be polite in front of the King as much as he could.

Soon, by very difficulty, the queen gave birth to a healthy prince. He was named Mohatu. The king thought that he didn't have much time left and didn't have much time to start training his son all over again. So, Kivuli remained as the crown prince. When Kivuli was a bit more elder, almost a teen, his actuall trainings started. There, he learnt that being king actually meant that he couldn't do whatever he wanted. He had to respect and look after others and all kind of animals, respect the females, think about everybody's well being etc.  But Kivuli thought that these were too many duties and pressure. Plus, being king didn't seem to be fun to him, as he couldn't do as he wished. But he wanted to have power over all the others. So, he tried to convince the king if he still could do as his own heart wished and make his own rules. But the king said it was not possible to break the traditions. Kivuli then started to misbehave with the king. And when he was a teen, he left the pridelands. The king thought that it was for good.

Kivuli roamed around from places to places, but he still didn't forget what he wanted. He trained himself to fight and to be strong. He slowly grew up and formed a pride of lionesses. Then, he returned to the pridelands to take over. But the current king's lionesses were more in numbers, and so they were defeated. The king asked him to join again, if he agreed to stay polite. But he was no longer the crown prince. Kivuli agreed. But as the new crown prince Mohatu was growing up, he tried to kill him once. But with his clever ideas, he still managed to say that it was just an accident and stayed in the pridelands. However, when Mohatu was finally the king after his father's death, he banished Kivuli and his lionesses, thinking about the safety of the pridelands. Mohatu married and was leading a happy life.

Kivuli was still actually living near the borders of the pridelands. He had his spies. He had played with a lioness's emotion, and she gave birth to his son. She named her Kanij. Kivuli had an evil idea, but Kanij's mother didn't agree with that. So, Kivuli killed her. Another lioness took care of his son. After he heard that King Mohatu's daughter was born, he went to the pridelands and humbly asked to join. Mohatu didn't want that, but he still gave him another chance. Kivuli convienced him to betroth his son with his daughter. That way, it would be easy to train both the future rulers from the beginning. Mohatu accpeted that.

But actually, Kivuli didn't do it for his son's good. He secretly planned to take over and banish his son as he couldn't win the pridelands in any other way...
