Personality:Kondo is normally a tough guy.He'll never let anybody push him down,and if someone wants a fight he'll be the one to give it to them.He's quite strong,both physically and mentally.He has a great sense of danger,but he never really cares if there's danger or not.Instead of playing with other cubs,he'd train himself to get stronger.He's the sort of guy who'd attract the ladies because of his tough guy act,though,he doesn't care about love and only wishes to get stronger.Despite being an Outsider,he's tougher than most Pridelanders.He has a bad habit of rushing into a battle without thinking straight,though if it's very important,then Kondo would defiantly think it out first.He's someone you can count on,someone who'd protect you to the end.No doubt about it.

History:Kondo was born to two Outsiders who had a burning hatred towards Kovu.They believed that he betrayed them,and they simply couldn't side with the Pridelanders.It was against everything they believed in.Their hatred grew when they heard that Kovu had become King of the Pridelands.It wasn't fair to them.So,when Kondo was born,they filled the cub's head with lies all about Kovu,saying he was a true murderer,he was a little scoundrel.And that one day he shall die by the paws of Kondo.

Of course,because he was a cub,he was easily influenced.So,he took all of this to heart and vowed that one day he'd kill Kovu himself.Each day of his childhood he trained,trained to kill a King.He knew that it probably wouldn't be as easy as it seemed; after all,he was a King! The death of a King also means that the kingdom will fall.He planned to cause the greatest uproar ever,by killing the King with brute force.

His parents grew proud,though they were very rough on the poor boy and forced him to train for several hours with little rest.He was given good food though,as his parents went out of their way just to get the best food for him.After all,he couldn't train on an empty stomach; he'd die,and their plans would be ruined.He grew into a very tough lion,and by one look you'd see the strength he actually has.He was also a very intimidating lion.He could scare off a lion older than him with little effort.His years of training made him the strongest lion around.

As he grew into an adult,he wandered into the Pridelands to fulfill his mission.He was headed straight towards Pride Rock where he'd kill the King that made his parents suffer so much.After all,Kovu was a cheater,a liar,and a traitor.Or,so he was told.But he believed that his parents told him the truth and so,that's what stuck in his head.

He didn't plan on meeting a beautiful young lioness however.He wouldn't lie; she was stunningly beautiful and her personality was just as great.She asked him was he new to the Pridelands,and all he answered with was "I'm only passing through." This was a lie,he knew that,but he couldn't risk telling anybody his plans,especially a Pridelander lioness.Though his original plans were to go straight for Pride Rock,he had a better idea.Why not gain their trust and then attack? It was genius.There was no way it could possibly fail.Or so he thought...

Yes,his plan was to gain the lionesses trust.But he didn't plan on falling for her.At first he wouldn't believe it,how could someone like him fall in love with a Pridelander?He hated the Pridelanders with a passion.He wouldn't fall in love with one,ever... But,fate obviously had different plans.

In the end,Kondo had no choice but to admit it.He had fallen in love with Lisha.Just when he was about to say it to her,she admitted something that shocked him greatly.Her father... was Kovu!

​Shocked,he instantly backed off.He couldn't love a child of Kovu,after all,he was out to kill the guy! He ran off in hopes to clear his mind of everything.He knew Kovu was King but he never knew that he had a daughter... His heart hurt,he still loved Lisha but he didn't want to hurt her.If he said he loved her,and then killed her father,he'd never be able to live it down.He couldn't hurt her,if anything,he wanted to protect her from getting hurt!He had no choice... he had to choose between his promise,and his love...

In the end,he chose his love.

He returned to Lisha and apologized for running off suddenly.He said he was surprised that she was the King's daughter.He then explained everything to her.Every single thing,even about him wanting to kill Kovu.Lisha was shocked and at first scared,until Kondo promised her that he now wouldn't do that.And the reason was because he loved her.Lisha could tell by the warmness in his eyes that what he was saying was absolutely true,and so she admitted that she had fallen for him as well.

Kondo was surprised at this piece of news,but also overjoyed.He promised that he would always be there for her,and he'd protect her until the very end.Lisha blushed and nuzzled him after this.She brought him to Pride Rock where he began to feel nervous.First of all,he didn't actually know what Kovu was like,he only had the lies of his parents to think on.

Much to his surprise,Kovu was a warm and gentle lion.He was nothing at all like what his parents told him,and he started to hate his parents for filling his head with lies on an innocent lion. Kovu at first was wary of Kondo.He talked to him and noted that his personality was cold,like most Outlanders,but he was warm towards those he trusted,in this case,Lisha.He allowed the young lion to be apart of the pride,under the condition that he protected his daughter at all costs.Delighted,Kondo promised the King that he'd risk his life for anyone in the pride,though he mainly meant he'd protect Lisha.

Kondo continued to live happily in the pride,and he even became Kovu's right hand man and a warrior of the Pride.Kovu said that he was a brilliant fighter,and so if there was ever a war,Kondo was the first to lead it.Slightly flattered,Kondo agreed to this.After all,his name meant Battle so he was fit for them.

He lived happily with Lisha,and as he promised,he protected her from anything he didn't seem safe.Maybe he was a little overprotective,but that didn't matter.Lisha loved him and he loved her,that's what mattered...

Relation to TLK: Mates with Kovu and Kiara's daughter,wanted to kill Kovu at one stage.
