Personality: Lesedi is a lot like her uncle, Erevu, in that she has very little regard for rules and takes delight in breaking them at any oppertunity. She can be stubborn and bull-headed as well, a trait she got from her mother. However, she is not unreasonable and is also very intelligent like her mother and will use her brain when she wants to. Lesedi prefers to be a follower rather than a leader and is incredibly loyal to her small family (particularly Daemon).

History: Lesedi was the result of a relationship between Duni and Ikinya, a lion from the Shadowland Pride, whom she met several times over the course of her life and eventually, when she was in heat, mated with him. She returned to her pride and he visited often to see her and Lesedi whenever he could get away from his pride.

Lesedi was born only slightly older than her cousin Abeni and so the two became good friends. It broke her heart when Abeni went missing and found a new family in Ikeena's Pride, a part of her thinking that her friend didn't like or want her around anymore despite Duni's reassurances that this wasn't true. In some ways, this helped her bond closely with Erevu as he and Ayodele, being best friends when they were cubs, were in the midst of fighting themselves.

Her life then took a dramatic turn when Lesedi wandered away from her pride on an adventure, somewhat inspired by the tales Erevu told of his cubhood. However, she didn't realise she was heading into danger until it was far too late and she was captured by humans. Forced in a cage, the young cub was frightened out of her mind, increasingly so as she was placed in a cage with the only other lioness captured...but this lioness didn't smell very lioness-like at all. When Erevu came looking for her on the savannah, he too was captured and forced in the cage with her and the other strange lioness who introduced herself as Elia and it turned out the source of her...unusual smell was because she was half-leopard.

When the humans were asleep, Erevu managed to break the lock on the cage door and the three escaped but by now they were far away from their home with no idea which way to travel. Elia, however, did know the area and offered to help them return, although the trip would not be easy and chances were that Ayodele might have moved the pride once he realised humans were in the area.

Lost and with no idea how to get back to their family, Lesedi and Erevu fell into a state of depression.
