Personality: Luca is a brave lion with a noble heart and spirit, and he never hesitates to stand up for the weaker ones. He is a selfless guy, who puts others before himself, and wouldn't even dream of hurting anyone on purpose, or causing anyone to feel bad. Luca is a true gentleman, who basically tried to be nice to everyone, but if his close ones are being threatened, he will defend them no matter what. Still, Luca is strickly against violence, and he prefers to use his head to solve problems, instead of revealing his teeth or claws.

History: Luca was born to Chumvi and Tama as their only cub, shortly after Simba and Nala had taken over the lands. He had a rather happy childhood, and as a young cub he befriended Simba and Nala's daughter, princess Kiara. The two were inseparable, they did everything together and shared their deepest secrets, also they always were there for each other, in good and bad. One day, as they watching them play, Simba and Chumvi came to the decicion that Luca and Kiara should be bethroded, and Nala and Tama agreed, they knew Luca would make a great king some day. But faith was about to step in, as for a week later, when Luca was exploring the savannah alone, he was attacked by some rogue lionesses, who nearly beat him to death, but Luca managed to escape, loosing his pursuers at the borders of the jungle. But as he had got rid of the lionesses, the badly injured cub fell to the ground, and everything went black. The very same night, nearly the whole pride was looking for him, and when his father saw blood on the ground, and fighting marks, the horrible truth came out. The news spread fast, and Kiara, who of course believed Luca was dead, was heart broken. The next morning, Luca awoke in the jungle, finding himself in a small den with two jaguar cubs staring at him. Soon their mother came in, explaining she had found him just in time, if he had been lying in there for any longer, he wouldn't have made it. She allowed Luca to stay with her family, as long as he needed to recover, but in time Luca found himself enjoying life in the jungle, and the two jaguar cubs became like siblings to him. He began to grow, and as time went on he turned into a handsome and strong adult lion. One day, he decided to return to Pride lands, to see his dear friend Kiara and his mother and father again, so he set out to his original home. But as he got there, he was immidietally pinned down by a tan brown lioness. And when she told him she was queen Kiara, Luca's eyes widened, he got up, and told her who he was. Kiara couldn't believe her eyes, there he was, her best friend, who she had thought was dead. The two shared a tearful and happy reunion, and as they got to Pride rock, everyone was both shocked and thrilled to see him. Luca was welcomed back to the pride with open arms, and he and Kiara began to grow a special bond once again, this time, there were sparks between them that had never been there before. The only problem in their way was Kiara's mate, king Kovu...
