Personality: Makosa is a very shy withdrawn lion, he hates being in crowds and can get very blunt around strangers because he has been so scarred emotionally. Makosa’s past makes him very wary of anyone new and he usually prefers to stick to himself because he doesn’t like to be judged for who he is. He has a very gentle personality and would never take anyone he trusted for granted, although he barely trusts anyone.

History:
Makosa was born after a one night fling between his mother and father, unfortunately their relationship was forbidden and HIGHLY frowned upon. Kovu and Nala agreed that they would keep Makosa out of the public eye until he was a little older and they vowed to never tell anyone who his parents were although the similarities between Makosa and his father has made rumours become vast and painful.

Makosa was greatly judged as he became known throughout the pride, Simba (the pride leader) hates him with a passion and his own half-sister Kiara refuses to have anything to do with him. Growing up, life was very lonely for Makosa as every cub was warned not to play with him and as he grew he became so antisocial that he had stopped trying to make friends.

Although Nala and Kovu treat him with respect and share custody of him evenly, Makosa has become so ashamed of his past that he tends to lie to any lion he meets and says that he was adopted into the royal family and his real parents passed away before he was a few days old.

Makosa is a very troubled lion but he one day wishes to have a family of his own and he wants to have someone to give the love to that he has had stored in him since he was born. He isn’t sure if he will ever find the one he is looking for but he has many doubts and has even considered leaving the pride.
