Personality: Mbali is shy, she doesn't speak and tends to avoid large groups of lions. It isn't known whether this is because of her past or because she just prefers being on her own, she has never spoken so it is hard to tell. She doesn't tend to trust others very easily but will help out if she thinks she can.

History: Mbali was born to two rogues in the savannah not far from the Pridelands. She was a healthy happy cub, but quite quiet. She loved both her parenst dearly and they loved her seeing as she was the first surviving cub they manged to bear.

However, happiness was not to last.

Mbali and her parents wandered too close to the Pridelands borders and Mbali's parents were slaughtered by the hyenas. Mbali managed to escape by hiding own an old meerkat burrow. For three days the hyenas hung around, waiting and goading her to emerge but she didn't. She sat alone in the dark and remained silent. After three days, the hyenas gave up on her and she emerged unhurt from the burrow. However, she never spoke a word after that.

Mbali wandered the savannah alone. She always avoided prides and large groups of animals because of her experience with the hyenas.
