Personality: Although she had a very bad childhood, she always tries to stay positive. She's a very giggly girl, and is always one to give compliments for no reason. She's very regal, like her mother. Very well mannered and very graceful. However, if you get on her bad side, she's a force to be reckoned with. 

Likes: Her mother, her brother, her pride, hunting, joking around, running, star gazing, exploring.

Dislikes: Her father, outlanders, hyenas

History: The death of the king, Mufasa and thoughtingly Simba, brought sadness to the pridelands. But no one was nearly as sad as Sarabi, the former queen of the pridelands.

Sarabi, upon hearing news of the death of her husband and cub, went into a slight depression. And within a month, Scar, the new king, took advantage of that.

Scar, wanting to become even a more powerful king, tried to force Sarabi to be his queen, she denied several times, wanting nothing more then to be a widow to her true love. That angered Scar, and one horrible night - Scar forced her to be with him.

Sarabi was expecting a cub, and Scar was happily expecting his heir.

Sarabi gave birth to the cub in the middle of the night, and the cub was born a female. The cubs' name was Mya.

Scar, sickened by the fact that his first born child was a female, refused to continue to have this child be his. He threatened to kill her, but Sarabi refused. Sarabi always wanted a girl. Not from Scar, but from her former lover, Mufasa. But she had to be positive, she was now a mother once again.

Mya brought Sarabi out of her slump of depression. Sarabi new she couldn't be weak with a new cub that Scar despised. She had to be strong enough to protect her new daughter.

Shortly after the birth of Mya, a new lioness joined the pride. Her name was Zira, and she quickly grew infatuated with the evil ruler Scar.

Scar, overjoyed to have a smitting lioness, took Zira in to be his lover - to be his queen. Not months after Mya was born, Zira had given birth to her and Scar's cub.

The cub was born weak, and fragile. But nonetheless a boy. Scar was angered with the weak cub, and Zira was a bit angered that the cub was not to her mates standards - she wished to birth a strong male for her mate. But, at the time they had no other choice, Nuka - the cub - was the only heir to the throne.

Luckily for Scar and Zira, not even a month after the birth of Nuka; Zira, being the queen, was called to the neighboring kingdom to help the queen with something. When she returned, she had a small cub that the neighboring kingdoms queen was not capable of caring for - this cub was Ryker. And he was a very strong looking cub, only a bit younger then Nuka.

Zira and Scar had the plan of making this cub believe that his parents were indeed Scar and Zira, and he would be the bronze of the pride - the prince they couldn't get on their own.

Sure enough, as time went on, Nuka and Mya - both Scar's cubs, were left in the shadows of his love.

Mya was very well loved by her mother, which couldn't be said the same for Nuka. And this often made Mya feel bad for her half-brother. She thought Zira was a terrible mother and was sad that Nuka had to put up with two terrible parents.

Nuka and Mya had a close childhood, when they could. Zira and Scar often frowned upon Mya having anything to do with the kings son.

Scar denied having anything to do with the making of Mya, that being said, Zira didn't believe Mya was Scar's daughter. She was completely brain-washed, and in complete denial.

But the rest of the pride knew.

Even Nuka felt it. Sometimes even the spoiled Ryker felt it.

But Mya was treated like dirt by Zira and Scar.

Zira was jealous of Sarabi, Zira knew how Sarabi was the once queen, and that she's a great huntress and very pretty. Zira despised Mya, the pretty little daughter that Zira never had.

Sarabi did her best to keep Mya away from the dangers of Zira and Scar.

Sarabi, being the lead huntress of the pride, taught her daughter everything she knew about hunting and how to defend herself.

Mya grew up to be a beautiful, graceful hunter - just like her mother. .

As time passed through the Pridelands, Sarabi began hosting secret meetings, along the borders of the Pridelands, in the middle of the night - so that the hyena guards wouldn't know. They had meetings about anything and everything. Plans on leaving, plans on hunts when the food was scarce, plans for water when the watering-hole was dry, anything that could help them survive. Sarabi was the mistress of the meetings, for most the lionesses looked to Sarabi as their queen still.

Mya listened through the meetings, listening to her mom talk to her pride-sisters. Instructing them. And as Mya grew older, she couldn't help but realize that the Pridelands were doomed for distruction. As a cub, it wasn't as big as a deal, she didn't realize the true dangers. But as a full grown lioness, she couldn't help but worry.

Mya and the rest of the lionesses often relied on Nala and Sarabi for their hunting. Nala had mastered hunting very early on, and even though Nala is only a bit older than Mya, Mya was still in complete awe at Nala's mastery of the skill.

Everyone seemed to be thinking the same thing, for one night, during the secret midnight meetings, Sarabi suggested that Nala go on a journey to find help. To find someone.. something that can stop Scar and his evil dictator ways. It was everyones breaking point - they needed their pridelands back to the way things were.

Mya had grew up with Nala, and was dear friends with her, but Mya knew that Nala needed to do it. That she may be the only hope.

After not much debate, Nala agreed - and Mya's now only friend.. was gone.

 About a month later, as Sarabi was explaining to Scar that they must relocate, that the food was scarce in the pridelands. Nala returned, with Simba! Mya couldn't believe her eyes, Sarabi's son, Mya's brother was back to take his rightful place as king. That's when it was revealed that Scar killed his own brother, Mufasa. The battle began.

Mya fought along side Nala, Sarabi and the rest of the lionesses. Battling off the hyenas as Simba took care of Scar.

The battle was long, but well worth it. Scar, her muderous father, was dead.

Sarabi introduced Mya to Simba. Sarabi explained the situation to her long lost son, explained that he now had a sister. Simba and Mya formally met, and they were happy to have done so.

Mya felt complete, having a new king. Within a short period of time, the animals returned to the pridelands, the lush green grass returned, like she's heard stories of. And the savanna looked amazing. Mya.. for the first time since she was born, felt like she belonged.

But she felt stuck. She was now practically alone with no friends. Nuka had relocated with Zira, sadly. And Nala was now busy with her new mate - Mya's half brother Simba.

Mya still had her mother's affection, but for some reason that wasn't enough. She wanted lion(ess)s her age, with her same qualities to be apart of her social life.

So one day, as she was wondering around, thinking. She came across a new pride called the Frozen Water Pride. She admired how close they all were to one another - and that they all seemed to be outcast just looking for a new place to go. She felt like she finally could fit in somewhere! So she decided to join the pride.

As she lived in her new pride, she developed feelings for the king, Kaine.

She was finally happy! And this time, she felt like she would spend the rest of her life living happily within a pride.

She felt like she belonged and this time.. she was happy!
