Name: Naanda (meaning 'beige')

Parents: Unknown Male and Unknown Female (deceased)

Siblings: Sarabi, Diku, Dwala, Kamaji (half-brother)

Mate/Crush: Mega

Cubs: Chumvi, Tojo and Elanna

Personality: Compared to Sarabi, Naanda is more boisterous and outgoing. She is blunt and doesn't hesitate to give her opinions whether they are wanted or not. Her temper often gets her into trouble as she rarely thinks before acting. She doesn't mellow very much when she reaches adulthood but she does learn some tact.

History: Naanda was born the second of twins, her elder sister being Sarabi. Their pride was an ally of the Pridelands and when she and Sarabi were old enough they were taken to the Pridelands with the intention that either one or both of them would be betrothed to the Pridelands Princes. Naanda got along famously with Mufasa as both of them were so similar personality-wise. It was agreed between Ahadia and Naanda's father that the two should be bethrothed.

Naanda and Sarabi continued to visit the Pridelands on a regular basis growing up with Sarabi and Mufasa developing a great friendship. Naanda never really played much with Taka, believing him to be a scrawny whiner which often earned rebukes from both her father and elder sister.

When Naanda and Sarabi reached maturity, they were sent to live permanantly in the Pridelands. Naanda was expected to marry Mufasa and become queen but something unexpected happened, Mufasa declared that he wanted to marry Sarabi instead. Their father was sent for and after a few hours of negotiation with Ahadi, Sarabi was betrothed to Mufasa in Naanda's place. Naanda was happy for her sister and her friend, she never held any romantic feelings for Mufasa in the first place
