Nafia loved her old life. She had a brilliant group of friends, but was idolised by everyone around her because she was different, being a caracal lynx rather than a lion.

However, everything started to change.

Her friends started rumours against her and everyone started to distrust her and turn against her. She pleaded with her friends, asking them to stop and for life to go back to how it was before, but they denied even knowing her.

Full of grief, Nafia left to find a better home. During the journey, Nafia was tortured by the things her friends had said and she questioned herself and her principles.

Then she met a lion called Fumo. He was very lonely and just being with her comforted him, and he filled her with confidence again. Together, they set out to find Fumo’s previous travelling companion, confusingly called Nadia.

The three of them found the Utendaji Pride and they joined, loving the feeling of welcome.

Nadia was the only caracal lynx there, but she loved being with the young cubs with Nadia, telling them stories.

The Utendaji Pride was set up so I was able to educate everyone on musicals, one of my favourite things (get the pun?)! I just love them and their songs are so powerful, so each member of the Utendaji Pride is related to a different musical. Every picture of them will relate to a song and I will post the link of the song so you are able to listen to it, as well as a context in the story of the musical.
