Personality: Negus is a strong willed lion, he is very forceful in his views and opions and hates to be told he is wrong. He enjoys being in control of others, and is always up for showing of his stregnth. A born leader, he has excellent speaking skills and others obey him. He is rather big headed and full of himself, he thinks what he wants he always gets. Will fight viciously for his gain. He shows no compassion or sympathy for others, and thinks himself invincible.

Likes: Being in power, getting his way, fighting, ordering others around.

Dislikes: Being wrong, losing a fight, not getting want he wants, traitors.

History: Negus had a simple cubhood, he was born to two rogues who eventually abandonned him at a young age, he adapted to the life of a loner quickly and excelled at taking care of himself.

When he was a teen he came across a group of young males who had all been kicked from their prides, he quickly became their leader, promising them he would get them whatever he wanted. He and the other lions began training to fight others, and many more lions joined the pride over the years.

Finally Negus decided he wanted to have more power. So he set his sights on the Pridelands. He took his now large pride of males to the outskirts of the lands wher he began planning how to overthrow king Kovu. Eventually he and a handful of his men went to explore the Pridelands, but they soon came across two cubs playing. One of them was the kings daughter, Shani, the lions quickly chased the two terrified cubs, but they escaped back to the safetly of their pride. Satisfied with scaring them, Negus went back to where his pride were waiting. He knew the cubs would've squealed to the Pridelanders about them.

Relation TLK: Plotting to overthrow Kovu, attacked his daughter, eventually goes to war with the Pridelanders after terroizing them.
