Personality: crafty - a lot like Scar, although not as sly or sneaky; he is well-mannered, but still, rather cruel; he is not easily fooled; can get very angry when things do not go as planned for him.

Likes: power and being powerful; intimidating his enemies; flamingos (his favourite food) 

Dislikes: war; wasting time (and time wasters); being ill

Relationships with Other Lions:  Thinks himself important over most other lions and can be rather cruel. But most of the time is very courteous and good-mannered, especially to elderly lions (who remind him of his beloved mother); loves entertaining guests and showing off his power.

History: Obbler was born an Outlander, and grew up as one of Zira's lions. 

He knew his father, Olg, only by name. His mother Wazee, an elderly lioness, had come from her birth-country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and joined Zira's group. Wazee raised Obbler single ''pawedly''. She was a lion of very kind and gentle nature; Obbler grew up tough, sturdy and fierce living the rough life in the Outlands, but by his mother he was taught good-manners and loyalty. 

Later on, directly after the Outlanders and the Pride Landers had become allies, Obbler developed an interest in being a leader of sort; by this time, he had matured into a strong and ambitious adult, and was keen to become powerful. He began watching Simba, acknowledging the King's decisions and duties and studying everything Simba did to do with ruling the Pride. Then, when Obbler thought he had learned enough about leading, he left the Pride Lands.

He travelled north of  Pride Rock past the Elephant Graveyard, beyond which he found a piece of stony, unwanted country. He claimed this land, making himself ruler of it. Other lions - mainly rogues and nomads, but some from the Pride Lands - joined him, and Obbler soon had a fair-sized  pride. 

Obbler became very powerful. He gave himself the title ''Emperor of the Stones'' (Stones is the the name of his rocky territory).
