Personality: Beki can be seen as a rather bitter individual. She finds absolutely no happiness or solace in her life, and so wishes it upon others. She is full of hatred from her past, and is constantly one to hold grudges against others, namely lions. She is very biased against lions, and wants almost nothing to do with them whatsoever, except for exacting revenge. She's used to taunting others to break down their walls and make them suffer. She believes that violence can only take them so far, and that verbal assaults can be just as affective, if not more. For pretty much everyone, she presents an aggressive attitude towards them, as she tends to be a loner, and prefers to be alone or at least, with the company of Maarufu. So, if you ever try to have a conversation with you, she'll most likely ignore you, or say a rather bad comment.

History: The Amani Clan was originally from the Elephant Graveyard, until they moved to new lands for better hunting options. Beki's great grandmother, Jasiri, had initially joined the clan hoping to spread her idea of peace with the once aggressive clan, and though it was hard at first, she managed to gain their trust, and showed them a better way by starting off in a new location, the clan promptly renaming itself the Amani Clan. Whilst in the clan, Jasiri soon had pups of her own, and her teachigns were taught to the next generation. But, as the tradition continued, so did the amount of hyenas who felt peace to be very silly, and that the best way to get something was to take it whenever and wherever. By the time it was Beki's mother's generation, they had all but forgotten their peaceful ways, and in doing so had driven most of the prey in their new lands away.

Without food, they began to travel to other lands to find food, which included stealing from lions. While traveling, Beki was born and cared for by her mother, however this didn't last long. Beki was only a few months old when the clan's stay wasn't welcome in the lands of a lion pride. Furious, the pride attacked Beki's clan, killing several and injuring what was left. In the fight, Beki had been hidden, and watched as her mother was slain trying to protect her. The lion soon found her, and marked up her left ear before another hyena of the clan quickly jumped in, dying in the process. The clan soon made it out, but with pretty much all the surviving members either injured or near death, they became a small group indeed. Beki, traumatized after her experience, began to believe all lions were bad, and this prejudice grew over the years.

As she grew older, Beki grew to be an accomplished hunter, however with all their moving around, it became harder and harder to snag prey without getting caught, often leaving them hungry. Out of anger and hunger, Beki stole food from one of the clan members, and after the matriarch found out, she cast Beki out of the pride with two nicks to her right ear. Now alone, Beki began to travel, until one day she reached the Elephant Graveyard, and while she stayed there, met Shujaa Maarufu. After initial hostileness, the two formed an unlikely bond, with her providing food while he kept them protected. One day, Maarufu came with news of a lioness that could possibly help them gain the lands known as the Pridelands. Though wary at first, Maarufu managed to convince her to join them.

Relation to TLK: Related to Jasiri, her partner in crime is a descendant of Chungu and Cheezi, is planning to take over the Pridelands.
