A different perspective., August 07, 2012

Now before i begin i'd like to say i enjoyed the Lion King II but that goes with out saying there were multiple things i didn't particularly care for.

The Lion King is my favorite movie of all time, like any fan i've seen the sequal. As an artist the animation threw me off a bit as well as the shading. A BIG jump from previous but i supose that's what a years gap will do for technology si i guess that isn't really a big issue. Nalas prfile seemed to change as well but that's besides the point..

The characters were great, however i dislike Kiara to the max,( I feel like the only one in this opinion.. ._.) Simbas character also seemed off to me but the new characters like Zira and Kovu and Vitani were well done.Nala was also done well. I like the fact that since the fist Lion King was based on Hamlet, they made the second one based on Romeo and Juliet. That was very interesting.

The voice actors were perfect. No complaints.

The songs were fantastic. I love them all.

The BGM (Background Music ) was a problem for me for some reason. I guess because i listened to the original L.K. soundtrack so much i'v e gotton accustomed to it. I don't know...but it to me it didn't seem as great as it could have been.

And to add my own creative bits in there I know for a fact i would have enjoyed Kopa way more then Kiara but this is opinionated. Plus i wish there could have been more Nala and SImba scenes. I feel like they were totally thrown away in the film. I wanted to see thier love growing not thier child who barely became of age. :/

Anyway before i hear Tl;Dr  all in all it was a good movie and fun to watch, still there is no comparing to the first and original but  it was a good job done for a sequal that went straight to video. :D Thanks!!
