Bio: Mheetu was thought to be killed by Scar, when really Scar had just done the same thing with Mheetu as he had done with Simba. Told to run away and never return, Mheetu started his own pride, and grew into a handsome lion, where he took many mates, who sired him many cubs.

Of all Mheetu's cubs, one worried him the most. Ovu, his oldest son, seemed rather mean to his siblings. Mheetu tried getting through to him, but it seemed he was a lost cause. Ovu constantly blamed Mheetu for the death of his mother, who had passed away early on in Ovu's life. He claimed Mheetu had never cared for her the way he did the other lionesses, and thus believed that was the cause of his mother's death. He also believed all of his half siblings were abomintaions that his father had created with succubi.

When he was old enough, he ran away from his father's pride and found that his cousin, Kiara was the queen of the Pridelands, and Rafiki's young son, Mlezi was about to present their first cub. Noticing that the monkey was skilled in witchcraft, he tried to coerse him into putting a curse on his father Mheetu, which was denied, as Mlezi would never harm a lion.

Soon after entering the pride, he was seduced by a young lioness who called herself Two-Scars. It appeared she had many mates already, but she accepted him as a mate too. "As long as I have a mate" he thought, "I'll be just fine."
