Personality: Safi is pretty much like his father was as a cub, he's wild and adventurous, and can't stay in one place for too long. He is a rather misbehaving lion, but still he knows what's the difference between right and wrong, and wouldn't hurt a fly. Safi is basicly a gentleman, but has a habit of joking around even in situations that might not be so funny, and this often gets him into trouble. He is strickly against violence, and believes it never leads anywhere, and that it only brings more trouble, so he usually attempts to avoid fighting as much as possible.

History: When they were cubs, Safi's mother Tama had a huge crush on Simba, who never returned those feelings, however, when Simba returned to Pride lands and took over the lands, he and Tama had a short secret romance which ended when Nala caught them one night. It was much later when Tama found out she was pregnant, she decided it was best if Simba didn't know about it and even better if no one found out about the cub. So, she managed to keep it pretty much a secret, and when it was time for to give birth, she went far away to the pride's borders, and with Rafiki's help she gave birth to a male cub. Tama knew he couldn't live in the Pride lands, for when the truth would be discovered, he would become a target of reject and contempt. So, she took him the near by pride ruled by her old friend, Malka, who promised to take care of the cub and care for him as if he was his own son. After saying a sad farewell to her little son, Tama returned to the Pride lands and later sbecame mates with Tojo, starting a family with him. Malka named the cub Safi, and taught him all he needed to know about life, and even told him the story of the great kings of the past. Safi always looked up to Malka, he was the only real father he'd ever had, and they had a really close bond together. But as a teen Safi began to wonder what had happened to his mother, and Malka told him she had died when he was just a newborn cub. He was lying, of course, but he feared the truth would be too much for Safi to handle, to know his own mother had left him. Time went on, and soon, Safi had grown into a handsome and strong adult lion, all ready to start a life of his own.

Relation to TLK: Simba and Tama's son, grew up as Malka's adopted son.
