History:

Saka was born in the group of rogues. Since a cub, he was very bold and brave. This made his life easier as they used to travel from place to place. Though, when he was a teen ager, their group was attacked by humans and only a few of them survived, Saka being one of them. He lost his parents and siblings but luckily, his friends were safe.

Their leader, Zuberi, decided to settle in a place instead of travelling as rogues. They arrived at a land and named it the 'Pride Lands'. Zuberi made himself the first ever king of the Pride Lands. Though, the hyenas living at the Pride Lands created a lot of problems and this made it hard for Zuberi to control everything. He then decided to form a guard called 'The Lion Guard'. Zuberi's brother Askari who was a friend of Jelani, was made the fiercest of the guard and being a brave lion, Saka was made the strongest. Saka's other friends were given other different roles in the guard. Saka and his friends kept the hyena clan in control and defended other dangers.

Saka enjoyed protecting the pride lands.Though, unfortunately, his duties came to an end when Askari fell ill of a fatal disease and passed away. Saka was heart broken but managed to recover quickly. After Mohatu became king, he fell in love with a lioness from the pride and became mates. A little before Mohatu's son Amani was born, Saka fathered a male cub who will one day join Amani's future Lion Guard.

Relation to TLK: Great paternal grandfather of Kula and Chumvi, was friends with Askari (the first ever lion guard mentioned in a TLG episode), was the bravest of the first ever lion guard of the Pride Lands
