Personality: Not like her mother, or sister (formally). She’s nice to everything and everyone. She’s more motherly than Sarabi and Nala, but at the same time, as fun and daring as Kiara and Vitani. She can be over protective over Vitani, and Kovu (when they were younger), and over protective over any cubs who she adopts like Simba is with Kiara. She’s sensitive, all on her own. She get’s no traits what so ever from her mother, or father.

Biography: Saranala was born as a twin to Vitani. Saranala had the mentality of an adult, as a cub, and  the mentality of a wise elderly, as a teen. So, Saranala held Vitani closer to her as a daughter, rather than her twin sister. Saranala was always a little more fuller built, and prettier than Vitani growing up, because Saranala would always visit the Grasslands secretly for food.

Vitani started disappearing during the days whenever Saranala actually wanted to play. She started getting very lonely and depressed about her sister not being around, leaving her behind. One day, Saranala decided to follow her sister, Vitani. They went pretty far, out in between the Grasslands, and the Pridelands. It was kind of a deserted place.

Saranala accidently made a noise, with a rock she accidently moved with her paw. Vitani looked behind her, alert. Ready to pounce and attack. She realized who she had just about attacked. Her sister, Saranala. “Sara?,” she asked Saranala. “what are you doing here..? were you following me?” she made sure she emphasized the word ‘following’.

“U-uh… well yeah. Vitani, listen… I-“ Oomf! Kopa had pounced on Saranala. “Leave Vitani alo-woah.” He was shocked. “You, uh… you look a lot like… Vitani..” he stated. Vitani giggled. “Kopa, this is my twin sister I told you about, Saranala.”  He got off of her. “Woah, dude, I’m sorry.”  Saranala smiled. “it’s alright. But, Vitani, did you say …Kopa???”

Vitani nodded. “As in… Prince Kopa…?” Vitani nodded again. “Vitani, if mother ever catches you-“ she started to say, but Vitani interrupted “Sara, I know. We both know. It’s a huge risk.” Saranala sighed. They spent the rest of the day, playing. When it turned sunset,  we said our good byes and left. “Vitani, listen. The only reason I was following you, was because, I got jealous. You’ve been leaving and not playing with me anymore.”

She told her. Then Vitani looked at her sister, and hugged her. “Nawls, I’m sorry… I guess I figured I needed to get as much time with him as possible,  before mother starts our training.” “wait, Vitani, your not… In love with him, are you?” she asked Vitani. “Yes… I think I am, Nawls.” She looked down and sighed. She hugged her sister. “we’ll go and play again, tomorrow.”

“Really!? You’ll come too!?” Vitani asked excitedly. “Of course. Lets get some sleep first.” And they lie down in their cave. What they didn’t know, was Nuka, their elder brother, was right behind them, and was listening. He was shocked. He ran to Zira. “Mother! Mother!” he called. “Nuka! Your supposed to be sleeping!”  “yes, but mother, mother! I have to tell you something!”

“What is it, Nuka!?” she asked angrily. “Tani’s in love with the prince!” he told her. “What!?” she asked, shocked. “Yeah! Her and Nawls have been going and meeting him, everyday!” …”oh really?” She thought, thoughtfully. “nice… Thank you, Nuka. Now .. GET OUT!”

……

The day next, Saranala and Vitani went to the same place as the day before, to find Kopa. They played and played. When they decided to play fight, Zira pounced out in the middle of no where and, as she thought, ‘killed’ Kopa. Saranala and Vitani were in tears and ran back home. Vitani cried and cried. Saranala shushed her sister finally, till she went to sleep.

The next day, Saranala waited for Vitani to awake. Zira came into the cave. “WAKE UP!” she scolded Vitani. As soon as Vitani woke up, she was already in tears. After the lecture of ‘Simbas the enemy, he killed their father’, Tani asked her. “why mother…? Why him?” “Because Simba told Kopa to get you to fall in love with him, and then planned to kill you!” she gasped.

So did Nawls. After that, Zira walked out of the cave. “wait, Tani, mama’s lying to us… you cant believe what’s she’s telling you!” she got up. “no, Saranala, mother’s right this time. Why else would a royal Pridelander want to play with an outsider?” she left Saranala and started her training. Zira was brainwashing them. Saranala’s job was to find food, with Nuka.

Zira treated Nuka and Saranala the worst. Vitani and Kovu were the ‘golden children.’ Years went on, and Saranala was still protecting Vitani. One day, “Tani, this aint right. Your gonna get yourself killed in this fight.” Vitani just shook her head in denial. “Nawls, I don’t wanna talk about this.”

Days when on. And Zira got Kovu to ‘save’ Kiara, and he eventually fell in love with her. “Kovu, you have to make this right…” she told Kovu one day, after he told her how he really felt about the Pridelands, Pridelanders and his father, Scar. And she told him about Vitani spying on him. Then him and Kovu went for a walk.

She then went with a walk with her sister, brother, her friends and her brother, Nuka, when suddenly she realized what they were doing. They were about to attack Simba. “Well done, Kovu, just like we always planned.” Zira grinned at her adopted son. And she jumped in front of Simba. “NO! Simba, run!” she said. Someone had attacked her and she fainted. When she woke up, she was laying on Priderock, lionesses surrounding her.

“Wh..What’s going on? Please, I only tried helping him..” she tried to explain. “no need to explain, sweetie…” a beautiful lioness said, walking through the crowd of lionesses surrounding her. “I’m Queen Nala.” Nala smiled down at her. “You saved Simba.” Saranala nodded, and got up, painfully. “But, wait. You have to know something.” They all looked at her. “Their.. Their coming to get you. They want war. And, Simba,” she said as she saw him approaching.

“Simba, listen, Kovu had nothing to do with this!” she tried over and over telling Simba that Kovu didn’t plan it. That he actually was in love with Kiara. “daddy, please, listen to her!” Kiara pleaded. Simba wouldn’t listen. Later, Then Simba was informed Kiara was missing. But, Simba realized Saranala was telling the truth. It was war. She went with the lionesses, and in front of her, stood all of the outsiders. Her friends. Her mother. Her sister. Nuka.

They fought. “where’s your pretty daughter, Nala?” She heard her sister say. “NO! Tani!” she tried without getting her sister hurt, to get her off. Then Kovu and Kiara showed in front of Zira and Simba as they were about to attack. “But they-“ Simba tried saying. “But they, us. Don’t you see? What differences do you see?” and then the un-thoughtable showed up. “I agree with Kiara.” Kopa. Vitani gasped. So did Nawls.

“Vitani, now!” Vitani glared at her mother. “No, mother. Kiara’s right.” She went and stood besider Nawls and Kiara. “Enough.” Then Zira went to attack her, and Kiara dodged her way and fell over the cliff. “Kiara!” Saranala, Fluffy, Kopa, Nala, Simba and Kovu said at the same time. Simba and Saranala went down to help Kiara. Vitani and Kopa nuzzled.

“Simba.. Simba, the river!” Nala called out. “Don’t worry, Nala! I’ll get her!” Saranala called back. She and Simba got her up. Simba gave them all a home. The Pridelands. Zira died, she wouldn’t grab Kiara’s paw. Though Kopa was oldest, and technically he and Vitani should have gotten throne, he gave it to Kiara. And Kiara and Kovu were new king and queen.

Vitani settled with Kopa, Fluffy settled with Mheetu, and now Saranala is waiting for her settlement…
