Personality: Shani is a girl with a real attitude, she's tough and headstrong and a real fighter who won't give up even in the toughest situation. She knows how to defend herself, all though she does attempt to avoid fighting and violence as much as possible, as she believes it's not the answer to anything. Shani has a soft side, which however she only shows to those she loves and cares about, and she's very protective towards her family and friends. She is a bit playful at times, and she likes chasing smaller animals like birds, meerkats or mice, and other lionesses concider her a bit goofy when she does this, but she doesn't care, she does it for fun and to make others laugh, that's why she's usually the one to cheer you up, if you're feeling sad.

History: Shani was born under rather hard circumstances, her mother was forced to mate by a rogue male who then left her mother and was never seen again, so she had to take care of little Shani all alone. It was dry season, and hard to find food or water, and just when they thought it couldn't get anymore worse, when Shani was only 5 weeks old, her mother became very ill, and couldn't move or do anything. So, now little Shani had to find food for her mother and herself too, of course, but it wasn't easy during the drought. Shani still did everything to help her mother, and took care of her the best she could, but she became weaker and weaker every day, and finally she passed away. Shani, who was now a teen, was left all alone, and had no one to care about her, and having to take care of herself made her tough, and she formed a sort of shield around her. After a couple of years she had now turned into a beautiful adult lioness, and now she arrived to the Pride lands, just when Scar had took over. Shani stayed there for a while, but after seeing how Scar treated the lionesses, and how bad things were going in the kingdom, she decided to leave, not wanting to stay in a place with such a horrible diktator as king. As she was approaching the pride border, a fire broke out, and Shani was trapped. The only way to get out alive was to jump off of cliff into the lake, and when she hit the water she lost conciousness. Then, a beige male lion with a black mane jumped into the water, and pulled her out. When Shani awoke, she was a bit starteled to see a strange male standing in front of her, and smiling. He said his name was Malka, and  Shani thanked him for saving her life, and then Malka told her he ruled a small pride in the jungle near Pride lands. He then invited her to stay in his pride, and Shani hesitated for a while, but then when she thought of it, he had saved her life, so how could he have bad intentions. So, she accepted Malka's offer, and moved in the jungle with him and his pride. After a few days Shani began to like Malka, and the two grew closer and closer every day, and soon they fell in love with each other. Malka confessed his feelings to Shani one night, and asked her to become his queen. Shani told him she felt the same way, and that she'd love be his queen, so they became mates, and Shani continued to live in the jungle with her beloved Malka, and they ruled the pride together, Shani then felt like she was finally there where she belonged.
