Personality: Shiro is a rather interesting nature, he has a weird sense of humour, he's cocky and sometimes can be very hard headed, so at first he may be a bit hard to get along with. He's quiet, and doesn't talk much, especially if you're a complete stranger, he has some trust issues due to what he's gone through in his past, but when you really get to know him, he is actually a pretty nice guy and a good friend to have. Once you get to his "good side", Shiro can be very sweet, friendly and caring, and he would never hurt anyone, at least on purpose. Shiro is a drifter, who might spend days just wandering the lands and plains, and then return home, he finds it extremely relaxing to just walk, without having to think where he's going.

History: Shiro was abandoned by his parents when he was just a newborn cub, his mother and father thought his white fur wasn't natural, and thus wanted to get rid of him. Fortunately, he was found by a pridelander lion by the name of Mega, who had been living alone for a while and he took the little cub under his wing, and raised him as his own son. He gave Shiro this name, as it represented his white fur and thought it suited him. Many other lions of the pride saw him as some sort of a freak, because they'd never seen a white lion before, and numerous times poor Shiro was a target of their mocking, bullying and calling names. All his life Shiro had to hear all those things about his fur and everything, and he didn't have a single friend on the pride, except his adoptive father Mega, who luckily always defended him when he was teased. Shiro finally grew into an adult, and still he was facing all those same things every day. All that made him into a silent, deserted lion who spent his days either just laying in his cave, or wandering away from the pride's borders. All he wanted was someone who wouldn't reject him because of his looks, and a friend, who would accept him for who he was. One day, when Shiro went for a hunt, he spotted a herd of antilopes, and just as he was about to attack, they heard something that caused them to flee. Shiro chased after them, but they outran him, and he stopped. Suddenly, he heard an angry lionesse's voice behind him, and as he turned there was a beige brown lioness snarling at him, accusing him of chasing her food away. Shiro just shrugged and said he didn't make the noise that scared the herd away, they argued for a while and he got sick of her, and walked away. She followed him, though, saying she wasn't finished with him yet. After walking after him for a while, she then asked what his name was. Shiro sighed, and introduced himself, and learned that the lionesse's name was Neema. At first he wasn't comfortable with her following after him, but after they'd talked for a while, he thought just to let it be. Soon Shiro learned something surprising however, Neema didn't have any friends back in her home pride, just like him. Then, when she said she'd have to return home, and left,  leaving Shiro rather confused and surprised. The next day, when he went for a drink, he bumped into Neema again, and found himself actually being glad to see her. They started spending time together, and as time went on Shiro found he actually liked being with Neema, she didn't seem to care what the color of his fur was, she didn't mind his looks and for the first time in his life, he felt like he really had a friend.

Relation to TLK: Lives in the Pride lands, and is Mega's adopted son.
