Description

Detail Sizwe

Name: Sizwe

Parents: Ari (DakotaWereWolf) and Sassia

Siblings: Tamu (twin sister), Baako (half-sister), Enu (half-sister), Eshe (half-sister), Sabini (half-sister), Jira (half-sister)

Personality: As a young cub, Sizwe was quite reserved and almost aloof, since he was the only male cub in the pride he was considered special and he let this get to his head at times. He was completely devoved to his father, pride and twin sister. However, after his banishment by Judas, he has become hard, determined  and short tempered more often than not. He has a goal and he won't let anyone stand between him and his pride.

History: Sizwe was the only male cub that survived past early infancy and was one of the only cubs that Sassia ever bore. He was immediately singled out as the next leader of the pride by his father Ari and so was taught a lot about ruling, defending his territory and about his role. He couldn't wait for the day when he would take over his father's place as the pride leader.

Soon, Ari fell ill and it seemed that the day when Sizwe became the new leader would be closer than anyone ever thought. Both he and his twin, Tamu, were devestated by their father's condition and rarely strayed too far from his side but worse was to come in the form of Judas.

As soon as Judas came on the scene, Sassia took her two cubs and hid them away so that they would be safe should the worse happen but Ari was defeated by Judas and the elderly male went into exile with his favourite female, Quanna.

Sassia hid the two cubs for a week before she was discovered,. Sizwe and Tamu were brought before Judas and he made his decision, Tamu was allowed to stay in the pride, as she was female and almost a teenager, but Sizwe was to be banished. He was allowed to go peacefully but he was not allowed to set foot on the territory he once called home on pain of death. Both Sassia and Tamu were devestated but many considered banishment a mercy compared to what could have happened.

Sizwe left and travelled north with nothing but hatred in his heart for Judas. He believed that it was his right to be pride leader and Judas hd stolen that along with killing his father. Sizwe was determined that he would retake his pride nd kill Judas for what he had done. All he needed to do was survive and grow strong.

No offense, but you guys come up with really sucky family reunions xD And it makes sense that Sassia would side with her son. After all, he is the only son of Ari, and from what I've read, Sassia was deeply devoted to Ari, right?

Dakotes: That's very true, but in Sizwe's mind, he was looking forward to being leader all his life, (for the most part), and them WHAM! It's snatched away from him. He must've had hard feelings for judas, no doubt about it, but Ari would probably be very upset with his son.

This is always how these situations end xD Not one family reunion has gone down without someone getting killed or seriously hurt - Zuri returns, she's killed Kayode, and gets herself killed, but hurts everyone else for her actions. And then Halla and Malka kill Nomusa... yeah, these family reunions just don't end well xD

I gotta say, though, that Ari would be very ashamed that Sizwe is acting like this. When Judas beat him, Ari accepted defeat, and made Judas promise to take care of his family. He took his leave very gentleman-like. The fact that Sizwe doesn't want to let go and move on would make him look down in shame at his son. So Sizwe gets a strike from his own father xD

Well Sassia will probably go to Sizwe's side, after all, he's her son! Tamu on the other hand...It'll be a very difficult choice because Sizwe's her twin brother but she also comes to love Judas as a brother and probably by the time Sizwe manages to find the pride again it might be after Tamu has Ari, so she has a daughter she wants to protect as well.

Basically, it's going to be one heck of a family reunion. Judas probably will kick Sizwe's rear eight ways to Sunday.

S! - That would be interesting to see if any of the lionesses sway their loyalty towards Judas in favor of their own blood. I can speak for Baako and Enu, though, and I'll say that neither of them will be inclined to favor Sizwe in this situation - Quanna taught them to be loyal to the ruler in charge, and so that's where they lie.

I can say though that Sizwe won't succeed in his plan to kill Judas since Judas ends up dying of old age xDD Wah, wah, waaaaaaah!

I like hearing what you guys think ^^

Everything is fifty-fifty with this situation. Neither are saints but both are sympathetic. You could see both sides of the argument which makes this whole plot very morally grey.

Yeah, I imagine that Sizwe's not going to go far with his revenge mode attitude but that's what drives him to survive. He won't let the harshness of the savannah kill him because he has a bone to pick and he won't rest until he sees, in his mind, proper justice done. He wants his family back and he's going to stop at nothing to get it.

Judas has got a very questionable record but overall he's still a very nice person. He's willing to show Sizwe mercy at least, instead of killing him on sight he's giving Sizwe a further and a a chance to make his own way in the world. Of course had he knew what Sizwe was planning he'd probably regret it.

Well, the question is, if Sizwe manages to live to adulthood and find Judas' pride, would any lioness fight on his side against Judas?

Yeah, Judas did let it slide with Sizwe, but he does have his ghosts. Both lions do in reality, it's not just one. I mean, Sizwe has this hardcore 'Imma gonna kill you!' revenge thing going on, and Judas has had his fair share of mistakes in his life. But, we'll just have to really see what happens, right? xD

Haha I'll stop spamming this comment section xD

But you're right, and I can attest that neither are saints in that regard. Sizwe may believe that he'll be doing good by getting rid of Judas, but I feel that that mentality of revenge is going to work against him. After all, being bloodthirsty on the road for revenge never ends well for the person in question.

And yeah Judas isn't much better either - he has his own ghosts too, such as fighting Ari (but which I'm lenient on because it is a part of life. Besides Ari was sick anyways - I mean it's not like we're talking about Scar and Mufasa xD), and he did neglect his own daughter because of her reminder of his mother. Yet at the same time I can't say that he was totally wrong in letting Sizwe go - lions will kill any young fathered by the previous ruler, and so for Judas to let Sizwe go was really merciful even though Sizwe might've died in the wild. But as you can see, he really didn't, and he could've found another lion pride that might've taken him in. It is a fifty-fifty though.

Sorry, you guys get the ball rolling for me and I can't stop chatting xD

*Sits back and watches with popcorn*

This is very interesting because both sides have a valid argument.

In Sizwe's head, he's been banished from his home, forced to leave his family and subjected to very harsh conditions where it's very likely he won't survive through no fault of his own. He has every right to be angry, in my opinion, and he's every right to hate Judas but he's not a saint.

Judas is a good person, he's kind, he's a strong leader and he's a good father to his many cubs but he isn't a saint either. He had to best an already weak lion to win his pride and banished a you g cub who he knew would probably not survive on his own.

So neither side is completely right or completely wrong ^^

I never said Judas was bad. But in Sizwe's eyes, well.... xD

Judas is an excellent leader though, and I like how you have the real lion prides going on, instead of having happy-go-lucky-everyone-lives-together lion pride. It makes it much more interesting : )
