Personality: Tahj is a cheerful, happy lion that likes to look on the bright side. Being a rouge, he doesn't have a pride, but he is very protective over his loved ones. He is a bit of a flirt but very loyal to his mate all the same. When it comes to fighting Tahj usually wins, as he is a rouge, and had to become stronger. But he doesn't like fighting much anyway, unless he feels like someone is trying to take his mate away.

History: No one knows much about Tahj's past as Tahj can't remember himself. He was next in line for the throne in a pride, but ran away at a young age, so never really knew if he had any siblings, or who his parents were. But he did live his life as a rouge. As a cub, he avoided other rouges and ran away from them, and took shelter in a den or a cave, but it was usually a log. For a long time, he was left in peace.

Until one day a rouge attacked him. Tahj screamed for help as he reluctantly put his claws out to fight. Eventually a kind lion found him and fought off the other rouge. Tahj didn't leave his side for a long time, and eventually this lion began to teach him how to fight, and although Tahj didn't like fighting after the attack, he soon became stronger so that he could protect himself. Soon this lion became his adopted father.

Unfortunately, when Tahj was a teenager, his adopted mother, his adopted father's mate, died of old age. Then his adopted father was attacked by a rouge when he was weak and defenceless, being an old lion, and was cruelly killed. Tahj chased the lion away but ran away from his home, vowing and declaring to never let another loved one get hurt.

With nowhere else to go, Tahj travelled around, exploring, once coming across his old pride, where it was destroyed and turned to ash, like a fire had gone through it. But the pride got out safely, for Tahj much later on met his brother, the king of the pride. He offered Tahj a place in the pride but Tahj declined and explored the world some more.

As an adult he came across a barren wasteland with a huge rock that looked like it had been hit by a drought. There was no prey and almost no life there. At first, Tahj thought that the pride had deserted it, and then he saw a pale female that appeared to be running from something. Tahj quickly hid and saw that the lioness was being chased by hyenas. Anger boiled up inside him, and he leapt at the hyenas, outraged, soon scaring them off. The lioness was highly gratefull and they began to talk. Her name turned out to be Nala, and her best friend, Simba, and his father, Mufasa, had been killed in a stampede a long time ago. Scar, Mufasa's brother, then took over, and turned the pridelands into a wasteland. The herds moved away and everyone was starving. Tahj though it was outrageous and half wanted Nala to escape with him, although she never did.

Soon they began to meet up every day in secret, and no one ever found out. Although Nala did stay away for a while to deliver Scar's cubs that he forced her to have, but Tahj understood the reasons. It didn't take long before love blossomed between the two, and eventually the two made plans to run away together. During one of their meetings the two mated, but the next day Nala was gone. A friend of hers told Tahj that Nala had left to find help, and Tahj anxiously awaited his return. One week he couldn't show up to visit because he was ill, but he was soon back there again.

On his first visit the week after he was ill Tahj noticed that there was more life returning to the pridelands. Either Nala had found help or Scar had started to rule better. Tahj was going to go with the first option, and wandered around looking for the pride. He soon saw a familiar figure running up to him - Nala! Tahj greeted her warmly but she had tears streaming down her face. "Tahj, I'm pregnant!" She cried. Tahj was shocked then nuzzled her. "Is that not a blessing from the past kings and queens, Nala?" He purred but Nala pulled away and sobbed harder. "Yes, but, they are you're cubs and, well, I found Simba in the jungle and he returned and overthrew Scar, and then made me his queen! I don't know what he'll say!" Tahj seemed a little bit taken aback. "Well, you could tell him the truth about the cub-" He began. "No! He - he might harm our cub! Oh Tahj, I just can't bear it!" Nala sobbed. Tahj gently licked her. "Well, another option is to not tell him and pretend it's his cub. Only, I wouldn't be able to visit-" Nala threw herself on him. "No! Tahj, don't! I couldn't bear it! There has to be another way. I can't live without you." Nala, there is no other way." Tahj began but Nala's eyes suddenly seemed to spark as if she had an idea. She looked at him with pleading eyes. "Simba doesn't have to know about us, Tahj." She pleaded. Tahj's heart melted and he agreed.

Soon they continued to meet each other in secret, like before, and Tahj continued to fall in love with Nala, while Nala fell back in love with Tahj. When Nala had his cub, she went straight to him and had the cub in secret. Nala visited them often, since Tahj took the cub in, and it seemed to go on like this forever.

Of course, life had to turn around for the happy couple. When their cub was on solids, Simba followed Nala, wondering why she was so often absent, and discovered her with Tahj. He and Tahj got into a huge fight which almost ended Tahj's life if Nala didn't stop it. She explained the situation to Simba, but he was still flaming mad so he banned Tahj from seeing Nala and returning to the pridelands. Their son was not around at this point, so Simba did not see him, but the poor cub was shocked and upset to find himself moved away from his home.

Tahj soon found a jungle and the two settled in nicely, and they soon got used to life. And Nala still visited them. Not often at all, just occasionally, but she visited none the less.

But Simba ruined things again. He once went to find Nala when she visited and discovered her with Tahj's son. Tahj was out at the time, and Simba attacked the cub when he found out who it was. Nala tried to tear him off but Simba knocked her away. Then Tahj leapt out of the bushes and pulled Simba away from his son. "Keep your claws off him." He hissed. The two fought again, and Nala was to be watched and followed at all times for a long time after that. Nala had Simba's cubs, and the two saw each other less and less. Eventually the two talked it over, and broke up. Nala had ended up falling in love with Simba, and Tahj just fell out of love with Nala. But it still hurt when she left. Tahj was alone raising his son for a long time
