Personality: Thabo is an extremely hard headed and stubborn lion who does exactly what he wants and when he wants. He acts before thinking, which usually gets him into trouble and he absolutely loves danger and any idea of something new and exciting. Thabo is basically like his father was when he was younger; He's eager to learn new things about becoming king and courageous and brave when that's required. He is loyal to his friends and family, who sometimes worry for him and fear his daring personality will some day cost him his life. Thabo does not believe in violence being the answer to any problems, but he is ready to reveal his teeth and claws if any of his loved ones are threataned or treated badly. Despite having somewhat punkish reputation among the pride, Thabo has a good heart and a sense of justice, also he knows the difference between right and wrong all though he is a little reckless and sometimes out of control.

History: Thabo was born to Simba and Nala shortly after they took over the Pride Lands as king and queen. He had one younger sister, Kiara, whom he was best buddies with and as cubs, they did everything together and loved exploring new lands. When the decicion was made that he'd be next in line for the throne as king after his father Simba, because he was the first born, Thabo was overwhelmes and he thought it was the best thing that ever happened to him. He started spending more time with Simba, who taught him all the basic things he needed to know about being king and how to rule lands, and such, but also he now had less time with his sister. Not only that, but during his father's lessons Thabo often got distracted and wondered off, sometimes after smaller animals and sometimes just simply got his attention dragged into something else. This happened not so few times, and when it started happening almost everytime, it made Simba rather hesitant about his decicion on making Thabo the next king. He took his son to a little father-son talk, and tried to make him understand that a king could not act so reckless and do and go however he pleased. Thabo promised he'd try to change his ways, and now started paying more attention to Simba's lessons and teachings. Meanwhile, Kiara who was rather lonely without her brother had sneaked away from Timon and Pumbaa and met an outlander male lion cub named Kovu. They never saw each other again, however, until Thabo and Kiara had reached adulthood and a fire broke out in the savannah when Kovu saved Kiara's life. Kovu was allowed to stay in the pride by Simba, who owed him his daughter's life, and Thabo soon befriended the rogue as well. But after learning Kovu was a former member of the Outland pride led by his father's old enemy, Thabo got extremely suspicious and started keeping an eye on him. Kovu had guessed Thabo was on to him, and one day, when the three of them went for a walk together and got far enough from Pride rock, Kovu suddenly lunged at Kiara, but just before he managed to sunk his claws into her fur, Thabo jumped in front of his sister and took the hit himself. The two males got into a big fight, and all Kiara could do was watch how the lion she tought had loved her was fighting her brother. Kovu got the upper hand rather quickly, and finally jumped into Thabo's belly, pushing him into the river. The next morning Thabo awoke on the river shore, finding himself being treated by the old and wise baboon Rafiki. After regaining his strength, the young lion rushed back to Pride Rock to warn eveyone about the traitor, but only to find out that a war between the Outlanders and the Pridelanders had already began.
