Usiku: A great father to Wavivu. He is kind, loving and helpful. Wavivu always goes to him to ask questions.

Zira: Wavivu heard very little of this lioness.  All he knows is she is his mother's mother, and that she was plotting to kill Simba.

History...

Son of Usiku and Gift.

Happy, non-eventful cubhood. When he reached his teens, Wavivu wasn't interested in learning survival skills. He prefered to indulge himself in activities which did not burn much of his energy - such as sleeping, eating and gentle exercise. 

Thus, he was not prepared for the tragedy which struck him during his mid-adolescence.

A rogue male lion entered the Pride Lands - finding Wavivu alone  on the very edge of the territory, he attacked the younger lion. Wavivu could not fight back, and was badly wounded. What was more, when the rogue had assaulted him, he had been knocked into a deep ditch, and had no strength to get out after. His fellow Pride members found him two days later, very weak and thirsty. 

Wavivu regained he strength a few months later, and begun serious training. He learnt how to fight, hunt and other useful skills.
