Zahur was born in the Pridelands. He was born in a litter of two, his brother Zakia and himself. His mother was very ill before his birth, and was accepted by the pride leader Mufasa into the pride. Zahur and his brother became good close friends of the Prince Simba, Nala, Raziya, Tojo, Chumvi, Kula, Tama and Marini. Zahur enjoyed being with his friends. He was super close to his mother and brother, as his father died before his birth. And when his mother took him and his brother to the East Pride, he became friends with the Prince Malka.

One day, it was announced to the pride that the old King, Mufasa and his son Simba were killed in a stampede, Zahur was horrified. He was crying for days. He had never felt so upset in his life. The only ones who comforted him was Marini and Zakia. Zahur was a close friend of Simba, very close in fact Simba and Zahur were like brothers. After the mourning the loss of their King and Prince, Scar let the hyenas into the Pridelands on the funeral day. It was horrible. Zahur became frightened, why would Scar do this?

As he grew older, he was threatened more and more by the hyenas and Scar. Soon, his friends Tojo, Chumvi and Nala's brother Mheetu were exiled, along with his brother Zakia. Zahur was scared. Why did Scar let him stay? What did the others do to get exiled? He tried his hardest not to mess up, and tried his hardest to impress King Scar. Scar didn't like Zahur.

Soon, Zahur started to have feelings for his cubhood friend Marini, but it seemed that she didn't have intrest in him. Then later, his other friends Tama, Kula, Marini and Raziya left the Pridelands, and the herds were leaving, and the water was getting scarce. Zahur got thinner, and unhealthy. One day a couple of males tried to challenge Scar, but Zahur stood by Scar, and helped fight them off. Scar then made Zahur his right-paw lion. Zahur was not extremely excited, but was happy to impress the king. He had a small rivarly with Zira, a lioness of whom wanted to be Queen.

Then, Zahur began plotting against the King to overthrow him and get rid of the hyenas, but Scar overheard, and exiled Zahur. He was pleased, and went to find something to drink, or atleast somewhere with food and water. Then he found that his friends had created a new pride, near Malka's Pride. He joined, and fell in loved with Marini.

Soon, Nala passed through the Pride searching for help, and the pride agreed that Nala would come back in a few days time to plot against King Scar. Then, a few days later, Nala returned saying that Simba was alive and had returned to the Pridelands. Zahur, Marini, Raziya and Tama went back to the Pridelands with Nala to help overthrow Scar.

The battle was successful, and Zahur, Marini, Raziya and Tama returned to their new home.

A few months passed, and Zahur became mates with Marini, and she became pregnant with his cubs. He was over joyed, and happy.A few weeks passed, and Marini gave birth to two healthy cubs whom they named Kovu and Vitani.

One night, while the other pride members were sleeping, the pride was attacked by a group of lionesses, and Marini was murdered by the lionesses. When the lionesses approached Zahur, of whom was guarding his cubs, he realised that the leader was Zira, his rival. She beat him, and took his cubs. The pride had woken from the screaming, and saw the mess that Zira and her lionesses left. Zahur was more upset, than ever. The loss of his mate, and the kidnapping of his cubs. He then left the pride, to search for his cubs. He never found them.

Soon he became a rouge and lived in the Pridelands, by himself.
