Personality: Zaliki keeps to herself most of the time, she’s very quite. When around the ones she loves she is very out going and is up for anything.  In her teen/older years she’s snappy and doesn’t like other lion/lioness’s very much.

Likes:  Zaliki loves night time. It’s when she is most active, and is in her opinion the best time to hunt. She loves the smell of flowers and enjoys at times the fact that she isn’t like everyone else. She adores her mother.

Dislikes: Zaliki absolutely hates the lionesses in her pride they are the ones that rejected her and her mother. She dislikes her father for not standing up for her mother when she was born. She hates when she is shunned or put down because of her disability

Fears: Disappointing her mother, being rejected.

History: Zaliki was one of the first born in the small and starving pride. So all of the lioness’s were over joyed when they found out her mother was pregnant with Zaliki. But their joy did not last long. When Zaliki was born her fur was light and one of the lionesses complained. “She won’t be able to hunt with that coat!” All the lioness’s murmured in agreement. It was when Zaliki first opened her eyes when the trouble started. “Oh!” Gasped one of the lionesses “She’s BLIND!” They all cried out in a mournful way “Were doomed!” What shall we do now?” Devil child!” They all murmured.

“Silence! All of you!” The mother finally spoke and held Zaliki close “Her name is Zaliki. For she is well born…” The lioness’s all walked out murmuring mournful sentences and spitting hateful words. Her mother licked her head gently “Don’t worry my dear, your father and I will love you for you” When her father arrived home he was also disappointed. “This means she can never be queen…” He said his head low “What do you mean? She’s perfectly capable of great things!” Her father nuzzled her mother and walked out to see eyes full of rage. “Are you sure that’s YOUR child she beard?” Spat one of the lionesses” You bred a diseased cub!” Lets all hope she doesn’t breed again!” They all snarled in agreement. Her father only stood their taking their hateful curses. To shocked to say anything.

When Zaliki was old enough to leave the den she had to get used to not being able to see. So she began to start training herself totally unaware of the accusing eyes of the lioness’s she only felt her mother proud and happy gaze.

Zaliki’s cub life wasn’t a happy one she was constantly teased by the other cubs and they never wanted to play with her. She grew accustomed to being alone and her father was never really there for her.

Soon, Zaliki became a beautiful teenager. Although the bullying died down she was still left out and her father wanted even less to do with her, but her mother gave her unconditional love, her mother knew enough that it would never replace the father figure Zaliki most desperately needed. Soon Zaliki fell into depression and wouldn’t eat, she became ill, seeing herself as a burden to the other pride members pained her, but when her mother confronted her in tears, Zaliki soon forced herself to eat and became fit once again, for her mothers sake of course.

Everything was peaceful, until Zaliki had found out that her father had an affair with another pride lioness, and they had produced a healthy cub. Zaliki was angry but it wasn’t until she told her mother, Her mother broke down and sobbed. Zaliki was pushed over the edge. She nuzzled her mother.

“Don’t cry, mother. I will make things right, your honor will be restored.”

She assured her, and with that Zaliki left the pride without telling anyone else of her plans. Her heart was filled with hate and rage for her father... she was nearing her breaking point.

 During her travels she made friends with Vitani, Vitani accepted her for who she was and gave her temporary shelter in the pride lands. There she met Kovu, Kiara, Simba and, Nala. She liked them very much and they also accepted her, she had a slight crush on Kovu but she never got anywhere with it because she respected Kiara’s and Kovu’s relationship she refused to try and steal an already involved lion from her friend. They all loved her dearly and Simba became a father like figure. He was everything she wanted her real father to be… strong, wise, sympathetic to those who deserve it, and most of all kind and accepting, she was in paradise and almost forgot about her vendetta with her Father, someone how though Rafiki knew about her vendetta and took her in as a apprentice for a short time. Zaliki appreciated his efforts but she had decided to leave. With a sad goodbye she left towards the now abandoned outlands, to begin her plan, to finally rid her mother of the fool she gave her everything to.
