Personality: While Mabaya prefers a more manipulative approach to get what she wants, Zeus loves to intimidate by sheer size and through violent means. He would be the lion you want to go to if you have someone in mind that you want getting rid of. He doesn't speak too often, and prefers interacting through body language. He enjoys bullying others, and is very sarcastic when you get him in the mood to start talking. The only one he prefers talking to, though, is his mate Mabaya, who he loves dearly for her evil ambitions. Even though he is much bigger than she is, he is her second in-command. Though he could think of good plans if he put his mind to it, he prefers action over anything.

History: Zeus lived in his family pride west of the Pridelands. They were an isolated group, never wanting to reach out to others. Zeus's father was large lion, but he was gentle and kind, though he was very paranoid about every little thing. Zeus was the middle child of his family, and it was his older brother who was to take his father's place when he planned on retiring. There was no reason for Zeus to become evil - his parents were kind, even through their fits of paranoia, and his brothers were fair about what they wanted. He just ended up becoming evil, and when his father finally stepped down and his brother about to take his place, Zeus killed him without anyone knowing. At least, so he thought, but his youngest brother saw him, and informed their parents. Zeus was kicked out of his family pride without another word.

Zeus joined a bachelor lion pride, and grew to be the largest lion there. He had killed any lions that dare try to challenge his position, and he made a name for himself as a very fierce and violent lion. The remaining lions grew enraged over his treatment of them, and revolted against him, giving Zeus his scars. He was exiled from their group.

So Zeus wandered, not really committing to a group because it always ended the same way - he would kill someone of importance and he would be left stranded. It would be awhile until he finally joined Mabaya's group. He thought nothing of her except that she was deliciously insane, but when she wanted him as her mate, he accepted because it gave him power, even though he was still second to Mabaya. He fell in love with her faster than she did, loving every bit of her, and agreeing with her ambitions. After all, how often was it that he would find someone who was just as insane, if not more, than he was? It excited him, and Zeus found that he would try to please her at every opportunity, but he only wanted to do this in private so the others wouldn't think less of him.

He doesn't know who Simba is, nor does he care so much about his family. But if Mabaya wants to take them down, then he would gladly go along with her.
